If you believe in beginner’s luck this story is a classic example. A player registered an account at Liberty Slots, claimed a $15 free sign-up bonus and won almost $200,000!
The player, Brian J, claimed the offer of $15 free on December 20th, which marked the beginning of an amazing lucky streak.
“I was playing with free money, but I was still cautious to start, betting pennies a line on various slots. When I had a couple of wins, I boosted my bets”, Brian told Liberty Slots customer service.
The Slot jackpots began rolling in for Brian over the course of five days with $10,000 on Rocking Robin, $14,000 on Magic Carpet, $18,000 on Dr. Love, $19,000 on Bangkok Nights, $24,000 on La Cucaracha and the largest of them all, $88,000 on Mine All Mine.
“I've never seen a run like it in all the years I've been in this business,” said Liberty Slots manager, Mark Ramirez. “We give out a lot of these $10-$15 coupons to encourage people to come and try us out but we've never had someone get quite so lucky. Fair play to Brian though, his strategy was impressive! He upped his wagers when he was winning, played a number of different machines, took his chances and rode his luck. This is what it's all about. When you see those photographs of people in Vegas pumping their fists with excitement - this is what they're seeing.”
Although his luck was amazing, the press release points to the bonus claimed being a No Deposit Bonus as Brian refers to the bonus funds as “free money” and the manager referencing “$10-$15 coupons”. Liberty Slots restricts cashouts to a maximum of $150 on this type of bonus. While this is a lovely story, it seems that poor Brian won’t be withdrawing more than 150 bucks of his $200K winning streak if he did indeed a no deposit coupon.
Here’s the information directly from the Liberty Slots bonus terms and conditions.
“Any free bonus money given without requiring a deposit, e.g. a no-deposit bonus, comp, competition/tournament prizes, birthday bonus etc. (unless otherwise stated), will have a maximum allowed cash-out of $150. Players are entitled to one withdrawal only, maximum $150, without purchasing a minimum of $20 in credits. Any additional balance in excess of $150 will be deducted from the account when the withdrawal is processed.”
