February 2016 Microgaming Slot Releases: Dragon Dance & Bikini Party

Back in November, Microgaming gave us a preview of the Slots that would ring in the new year. February is fast approaching and what would another month be without a couple of new Microgaming titles? They’ve got two games scheduled to launch next month that will available on February 3, 2016 for both desktop and mobile formats on the Microgaming and Quickfire platforms.

In celebration of Chinese New Year on February 8th, Microgaming will launch its Dragon Dance Video Slot featuring lots of colorful graphics, dancing dragons and costumes. Dragon Dance presents 243 ways to win and the opportunity to trigger 15 free spins with tripled wins when three or more Scatter symbols appear on the reels. Another special feature is the Re-spins during the base game. The player has the option to bet on the Reel Respins as many times as they like.

The second game to go live will be Bikini Party with a theme based on a beach volleyball game. The game offers 243 ways to win, Reel Respins and the chance to win as much as 60,000 credits during the free spins bonus, which may be retriggered. When three volleyball symbols appear on the reels, the player is awarded 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier.

“Our February game add-on shows our continued commitment to deliver dual-release games, enabling players to be entertained wherever they decide to play and on whichever device they choose,” said Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels at Microgaming.

They can affort to release a slot per month and probably more that one and I think that MG is giving some impulses in this business. They push the smaller developer to their limits but the slots are mostly copy cats and I rarely see something new and interesting. The sushi slot was something new and more interesting f.e. And they can approve the design a lot. Endorphina has some games that are really a catch for the eye and I haven't seen something like that from MG so far. Regarding the design they are still way behind in my opinion.

Yet ANOTHER round of new slots...I bypass most , too many in the menu .I stick to about my same favorite 10 or 12 at most , I agree some are really just carbon copy . Its a waste if you ask me , Id really like to know the reasoning behind this , but o well , Im still a microgaming fan , I just overlook the clutter.

I think it would be really refreshing if Microgaming took a month off and wouldn't release a new slot once. I thought that Lucky Twins was already their game for Chinese New Year but apparently they have another game for that. I would be really supportive if the games were good, but at the end they just look like clones to their previous slots. That's why I still stick with Microgamings old slots.
