William Hill Group to Close Skykings, Prestige and Joyland

William Hill Group - WHG (International) Limited will be closing of four of its brands over the next week.

The following casino brands will close on February 8, 2016:

. Skykings

· Prestige

· Joyland

Bingo players will also lose Ruby Bingo as of January 31st.

There hasn’t been an official press release detailing the reasons for the closures but affiliates and registered players should have been notified via email.

If you have any funds in your accounts, now is the time to get in there and cash it out.

As part of the Affiliates United program, other brands still in operation include 21Nova, EuroGrand and, of course, William Hill’s bingo, casino, poker, sports and Vegas products. All brands feature software from Playtech.

I was never able to play their being from the US, but I thought they were a pretty busy group. I agree about the one software loyalty. Great for Playtech, but bad for business. There are too many other sites with multiple and multiple multiple softwares, now that is hard to compete with in any country. At least they are notifying the players. There have been some casinos that have just closed with no notice and kept their money. Maybe William Hill will regroup, correct the mistakes, come back and give it another go.

Ho, this is a surprising news. I opened my account in William Hill around two years ago, but haven't played there. And recently, I found out that William Hill is good enough to play and opened my accounts in the rests of them. And, I was actually thinking that I would try these casinos very soon . And they are closing three casinos at the same time. Huh.. I kind of feel lucky that I chose Betfair and Betfred firstly among Playtechs.

Im not surprised and this wont bother me at all , Ive never been of fan of them . Finally no more spam from them / ...lol I have tried and deposited a bit long ago in playtech casinos , didn't have a good enough experience to keep playing or bothering with them . For those who were fans , there are many other playtech casinos still going . The industry is so competitive currently , wouldn't be surprised to see many close its operations soon .

I don't want to be sarcastic but this is probably the result if you don't developt at some point. The whole industry is about deals and co-operations and providing more than one software developer. Sticking with Playtech is very honorroble but as Playtech does not have that much games and does not develop much new games like MG and NetEnt do, players are nomore satiesfied to play one provider only. It would kill me if I have to play Playtech only. It is hard to say, I know but a lot of people think the same way. Cash out, people, the sooner, the better.
