Microgaming is ready for March with the announcement of two new Slot Games, which will be available across all platforms including desktop, mobile and tablet. Wild Orient definitely looks more promising than SunTide but we’ll let you be the judge.
Wild Orient will transport players to the Asian wilderness and oh what a trip it will be with 243 ways to win and a maximum jackpot of 60,000 coins. Following every spin during the base game, players will select a reel to re-spin. The re-spin will require an additional bet depending on which reel you choose to re-spin. Free spins may also be triggered by a re-spin.
Three or more scatter symbols award 15 free spins with 3x wins.
Wild Orient Preview:
The next game to debut in March is SunTide. A tropical vibe adds some flair to an otherwise boring 9-line game. In terms of special features, SunTide features expanding wilds, free spins and the chance to win up to 150,000 coins.
Both Wild Orient and SunTide will be live as of 2nd March 2016 across all Microgaming’s Casino, Bingo, Poker, Mobile and Quickfire products and formats.
Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels at Microgaming, said, “March sees another two games launch to our operators, available on all platforms and all products. We know players aren’t sticking to one form of technology or one way of consuming our product, so we’re developing games accordingly.”
In related news, Microgaming’s Quickfire platform has partnered with Playson as its latest development partner.
As a result of the agreement, Playson’s HD Slots, including Alice in Wonderslots, Dracula’s Family, Bumper Crop, Wild Hunter and Lucky Pirates, will become available to Quickfire’s partners.
Commenting on the partnership, Playson’s Managing Director, Adam Daniel, said, “Bringing this project to the game-release stage is incredibly exciting. Quickfire’s market penetration is second to none, the responsiveness and cooperation from their team has been excellent and we are looking forward to building momentum with our game releases on the Quickfire platform”.
Tom Chamberlain, Head of Quickfire at Microgaming, added, "It is great to have Playson on board as a Quickfire development partner. Following a rapid and hassle-free integration, Quickfire now has access to their high quality catalogue of games which are readily available to the 400 online gaming brands live on our platform.”
