Seminole Hard Rock, in Tampa, Florida, will serve as the first casino to launch the Spin Ferno product from International Game Technology (IGT). The product serves as a simplified tournament experience for players, particularly targeting those that seek an entertainment experience loaded with thrills, paired with low denominations.
Furthermore, it is designed to deliver a modern take on traditional spinning-reel tournaments, providing licensed music, synchronized lighting & sound technology, interactive features, and much more. Additionally, players can look forward to having a choice between session-based or walk-up tournaments hosted on the S3000 cabinet, powered by IGT’s Tournament Manager 5.0 software.
Titles such as Hotsy Totsy, and Hot Lil’ Devil, will be available for Tampa’s Hard Rock customers to engage in tournaments on.
IGT senior vice president of interactive and gaming sales for North America, Nick Khin, stated, “We are thrilled to bring Spin Ferno to market with our partners at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.”
Khin further added, “Spin Ferno extends the capabilities of our globally successful S3000 cabinet and exemplifies IGT’s leadership in pairing game and systems innovation to create premium player experiences.”
Seminole Hard Rock’s vice president of slot operations, Dan Ingster, expresses the casino’s excitement over the arrangement: “It’s an honour to be the first casino to have the Spin Ferno technology launch at our property this month. We first saw the innovative entertainment experience in play at the Global Gaming Expo last year in Las Vegas and felt the game would be a great fit for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. The technology, game play and tournament flexibility were all key factors when deciding on launching the system.”
