Back Digital Product of the Year’ Win for Microgaming at the 2016 Global Gaming Awards

The panel of industry professionals know a great thing when they see it and Microgaming has every reason to celebrate as Quickfire wins the ‘Digital Product of the Year’ award at the 2016 Global Gaming Awards for the 3rd time.

The Awards ceremony was held at the Las Vegas Venetian Palazzo Congress Center on Monday, September 26, 2016. The Global Gaming Awards take a look at the best of the best in land based and online gambling over the past year and a panel of 60 judges hand out 12 awards for outstanding achievements.

Gambling Insider Editor Alex Hammond, who presented Microgaming with the award, said, “Congratulations to Microgaming, one of the biggest names in the digital supply industry who has once again had a tremendous year, spearheaded by this year’s digital product of the year, Quickfire.”

Commenting on the honor, Andrew Clucas, Director of Quickfire, had this to say: “This win highlights the incredible progress of Quickfire since launching in 2010. The platform has emerged as the product of choice for operators who require immediate access to the best online gaming content from Microgaming and select development partners. It’s great to see the industry celebrate the content, flexibility and innovation of Quickfire.”

As if the 3-peat wasn’t an accomplishment in itself, the Microgaming Poker Network’s Babelfish API was further recognized at the runner-up in the category of Digital Gaming Innovation. The product is used to give third party poker game clients integration access to MPN servers and back-end systems.
