Back LeoVegas Granted iGaming License by Danish Gambling Authority

Award winning Swedish mobile casino, LeoVegas, has recently accomplished a major feat, in receiving an iGaming license, granted by the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA). The license enables the brand to provide its content to customers throughout Denmark.

Following its newly granted license, the provider plans to put forth an expansion strategy, by forming business teams throughout Denmark, equipped with significant experience in both digital marketing, and the Danish gaming market, as it prepares to go live with its dot.dk offering this fall.

Gustaf Hagman, chief executive and co-founder of LeoVegas, stated “LeoVegas’ expansion continues, and it is gratifying to see how we grow in new markets. Our strategy to enter regulated markets or markets that are facing regulation seems like a winning concept.”

Hagman continued, "I am convinced that our market-leading mobile gaming product, data-driven marketing approach and a strong, local team will help ensure a successful launch in Denmark, where no one has yet taken the mobile position."

In addition to its newly acquired iGaming license, which will aid in strengthening its position throughout the Denmark market, LeoVegas has also obtained licenses from Malta Gaming Authority, and the UK Gambling Commission.

The Danish online gaming market is expected to be worth an estimated DKK 4.6 billion for 2016.

LeoVegas, industry leader in mobile gaming, is a provider of online casino and sports betting services, ranging from slots to table games, video slots, live betting, and more, all delivered across a variety of international markets.
