Golden Lotus seems to be a slot game that many avoid. I have told people that it’s one of my go-to Real Time Gaming (RTG) slots and they have looked at me like I have five heads. The reels are a little stingy but the bonus round has done wonders for my bankroll on more than one occasion.

I first headed to Mystic Dragon and had a nice round of free spins right away. It all went sour after that. I had about $20 left to play with so I took it to Golden Lotus. If I could only get a good bonus I would cash out for sure. I was making all sorts of deals with myself. If you get this then cash out but if you get that wait until you hit something bigger. I went back and forth as my balance was slipping away.

I didn’t have a solitary decent win. Not one. I find that RTG slots don’t like it when I bet $1 or more. They prefer $0.50 or $0.75. I was down to just over $7 and reduced my bet from $1 to $0.50. The moment I did that I hit three Golden Lotus symbols. I won 30 free spins with a 25x multiplier. I was $43.84 richer after that bonus round. That wasn’t nearly enough to make me cash out.

A few spins later I got three White Lotus symbols for 7 free spins with a 3x multiplier. $12 more bucks for me. I kept spinning a little while longer. Well would ya look at that, another White Lotus bonus for $20 more.

When all was said and done, I was up $60 all thanks to Lucky Red and Golden Lotus. Stop looking at me like I have five heads. I’m tellin ya it works.
