There’s a chewy waxy candy called Starburst that I have enjoyed since childhood but I’ve now found an adults only version in the form of a slot game. The symbols are beautifully colored gems, BAR and a red 7. There’s no bonus game but the Starburst Wilds make up for it. If one lands on the reels it expands and turns the entire reel wild. You are then awarded a re-spin. If another lands anywhere that reel will become wild and also award an additional re-spin. The max re-spins are 3.
The major symbol is the BAR. It pays the most and it was pretty scarce during my session. The second highest paying symbol is the red 7 and that was nowhere to be found either. It was such a bummer to get the Starburst Wild and re-spin and hit absolutely nothing. I was betting €1 per spin and at first things were going well. At one point, almost the entire screen was filled with red jewels and wilds for €49.50. That was a great start.
Not long after I hit quite a few blue jewels for €25 but what it giveth it taketh away just as quickly. After a few wins my bankroll began to dwindle. I gave it a rest for the day.
The potential is great on Starburst but for now I think I’ll just stick with the candy.
