Rival has released a new slot game called Midway Madness. I’ve never pretended to be a fan of Rival slots and I never will. I did try it just to say that I did at Tropica Casino. The idea is that some guy is controlling these wild rides and the kiddies are having a blast or are they? I can’t tell if that’s sheer joy or queasiness.
I was betting $2 per spin and the payouts were not so good at first. The graphics are very basic on this slot; however I will say that it definitely is colorful and gets the point across. There’s no doubt that we’re at an amusement park.
The Bumper Cars Bonus Round is where you’ll drive around and bang into the other cars to earn coins. That feature is ingenious. I wasn’t expecting that but once I had seen it I died laughing. It was a bit of fun from childhood brought to the screen via a slot game.
Overall, the payouts were not great for me. There is another bonus game called the Ice Cream Bonus Round. I wanted a chance to try that so badly but it didn’t happen. I reduced my bet when I wasn’t winning because I was actually enjoying every minute of Midway Madness and I wanted it to last.
