Since I was having nicer thoughts about Rival slots I decided to give it another try this week at Golden Cherry. I was attracted to the bright colors of Wild Carnival and jumped right in. Hey, I haven’t been to a carnival in years!
I didn’t want to spend too much cash spinning but I realized that I had to think positively. There’s no way I can win with a losing attitude. Yep, corny as the day is long. I know!
Once the slot loaded the colors came in very clearly and they were neon. Neon like a bad 1992 outfit. The shimmer as the reels spun was mesmerizing. I was betting $1.00 per spin to start. The 50 line slots can be pretty steep to play but this one had a minimum of $0.50 per spin.
My impression of Rivals in the past is that the bonuses are impossible to trigger. Well, that hasn’t changed. Each time the beads, ya know like Mardi Gras beads, appear on the reels you are one step closer to the bonus. You need to 12 and they were very shy so I collected a total of one bead symbol during the entire session.
I lost my bankroll within the blink of an eye. You never know though, maybe next week I’ll try my hand at Rivals again.
