Reel Rush Slot Draines My Balance

Every once in a while NetEnt releases a slot game that leaves me underwhelmed and I hate to say it but Reel Rush is one of them. They definitely get an A+ for effort and uniqueness. I took some time to try it out at Mr. Green Casino.

I started wagering $2.50 per spin and was a bit confused when I started. There are some spaces that are covered and whenever you hit a winning combo, the reels re-spin and they open up. It was hard enough to get a winning combo much less get more than one. If you don’t get any winning combinations during the re-spin, the spaces are covered up again. The more successful re-spins you get, the more spaces open up. Ya with me so far?

I was getting so frustrated because I couldn’t get this slot to warm up. It was as dead as dead can be. I was ready to quit when I got re-spin after re-spin. In fact, I was just one re-spin away from 8 free spins. Finally, after many, many, many spins, I got 8 free spins and won $183.

I usually avoid slot games that are based on fruit. I have the shortest attention span known to man so I love a slot game full of bells and whistles and this one doesn’t have it. My little win was gone much quicker than it came and so was the rest of my balance. Unfortunately, the payouts just aren’t that great.

On a positive note, I will say that it is exciting to watch the stars collect as you get closer to free spins. Reel Rush does provide that rush feeling but you may wait a very long time.
