You know those magical occasions that no matter what game you touch you’re a winner! That is what happened to me on my latest trip.

Caesars Entertainment Group sent me an exciting excursion to Laughlin, Nevada for 4 nights, 5 days free room and airfare for two.

I don’t know if I was more excited about getting out of the cold or playing! After the charter plane landed we were shuttled to Harrah’s Hotel right in front of the new Guy Fieri’s Mexican restaurant El Burro Borracho. It was a nice surprise considering it was not officially announced they were open yet. We couldn’t resist eating there and of course had to have a margarita. Food was really awesome!

By the time i got on the casino floor it was around 11pm and after playing til 2am with not much luck decided to head or the room.

Day 2 - The next morn I was up at the crack of dawn and down in the Casino by 6am. Heading straight to Video Poker I played three handed ten cent Hyper Bonus Poker. In this game any time a pair of jacks or better is dealt, a random multiplier up to 12 times is awarded on each pay line.

Not more than 15 minutes of playing I got dealt four deuces with that glorious kicker. One of the pay lines was 12x, the other two were 2x awarding me a hand pay of $3,200…….Yessssssssssss what a way to start my trip. I pretty much held my own for the rest of the day after hitting some nice slot wins and giving those back.

Day 3 – This was not a real good day it should have been if I played more conservatively. I accumulated $1,200 playing Crazy Times Poker again in the morn but like a fool gave it all back and then some after playing in casinos from 7am to 1am!

Day 4 – Back to Hyper Poker where I hit the Jackpot. Could I possibly hit another Jackpot? I wasn’t so sure until I was dealt 3 aces and on the draw got 4 aces with the kicker on the second pay line at 5x and four aces without the kicker on the third line for another jackpot of $2,040…..oh oh oh!! This was my best day there because I won on a lot of Slots too including Willy Wonka, The Sphinx, Sex in the City and a few others. After playing an all day long marathon i was up $2,700 for the day.

Day 5 – Ok so now I have only a couple hours to play before we hop on the shuttle to the airport. I didn’t want to seem greedy but I was calling on lady luck one more time to send me off. With only 15 minutes to spare I am playing Crazy Times Pokers where multipliers up to 5x randomly appear on the pay table. Playing three hands at 10 cents I get dealt a lonesome K of hearts. And lo and behold hit the Royal Flush x 4 on the first payline for another hand pay Jackpot of $1,605!!

I went back home with all the money I came with plus an extra $4,500. It was just one of those rare times that luck just wouldn’t leave my side!

Big Congratz !! I know the excitement and feeling of winning those but as many do on a more than 1 day trip Ive always lost it back..lol , taking your winnings home is an Awesome achievement . Im happy for you , love to hear stories with awesome happy endings:)

I did go with a very dear friend of mine. In fact she had luck too and was $200 up at the end of the trip. I know these kind of "Midas touch" occasions only happen once in a great while. I am glad it happened on this trip because 5 days is quite a long time to gamble. And yes every time i go on one of these trips i need...

That is sooo awesome Lips... Congrats. Just curious you said it was for 2 , did anyone come with you or you went by yourself. If that was me and I was by myself , I probably would of missed the plane home...LoL. Glad you left with a very nice amount. Were you exhausted after leaving ?? I get exhausted here when I go out sometimes and am gone for almost a day cause am playing in a casino...LoL . It's hard work...lmaoooo. FYI - I live in reno ,Nevada . Congrats again :)

Caesars Entertainment group is prolly one of the most generous in rewards. Play on a regular basis at any of their properties and move up to second level Diamond status which really isn't all that hard to do and the rewards and free trips begin! I have another Free trip in Atlantic City in March.......weeeee!!

you must have been very lucky lips! we have in our country; holland casino, the only big casino with WMS IGT every slots you may know;) but i always lose there! very sadly, only 1 time lucky when i got a birthday chip for roulette you need to put it on 1 number and if its good you win 500euro, i put it on 36 and it came...

Congratulations on your win! It doesn't happen often to come home from your vacation with more money in your pockets. Glad to see that Las Vegas is still up and running and nice article, like I was there seeing you win :) I miss playing real slot machines and after reading this... I'll go to play a little.
