Provider of gambling products and services to a variety of lottery and gaming organizations across the globe, Scientific Games, has just reached an agreement with Penn National, owner and operator of both gaming and racing facilities throughout the United States, marking yet another joint venture for the two companies.
The recent agreement serves as the result of an aggressive selection process, and will see Scientific Games lending its products and services to two more Penn facilities, one in Nevada, and another in California.
The Nevada location is the Tropicana Las Vegas, which first opened its doors on October 10th and is made up of 1,731 slots, plus 40 table games. Penn National has obtained ownership of the casino through the Jamul Indian Village, as of August last year. The supplier’s latest system solutions will be integrated to Tropicana’s offerings as part of the agreement.
Hollywood Casino Jamul-San Diego serves as the second location, of which Scientific Games will gain a 32% share in its gaming floor.
This is not the first time Scientific Games and Penn National have teamed up. In fact, with the addition of these latest two casinos, the supplier now lends products to 15 of Penn’s US-based casinos.
"We value our long standing partnership with Penn National Gaming and are pleased that they awarded us a significant share of games, platforms and table solutions for Jamul, as well as our systems business for both Jamul and Tropicana," commented Kevin Sheehan, Scientific Games’ chief executive and president.
