Back The Spinner is the Winner Says Seminole Hard Rock Casino

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino made a determination that may forever change the way you gamble at land-based casinos. A guy by the name of Jan Flato put his cash into the ‘Double Top Dollar’ slot machine, but when it flashed a $100,000 jackpot, his female companion walked out with the cash – security and all!

Marina Medvedeva Navarro, 35, was cozied up to Flato at the $50-a-spin machine and when he asked her to push the spin button for luck, the jackpot hit. We can only assume she attempted to stake claim to the windfall because casino security reviewed the cameras, which revealed she was not only the spinner, but the winner too.

Navarro had no qualms to ask security to watch Flat as she took the payout and left. Can you imagine the gall?

Several weeks after her dirty deed, she texted Flato saying, “Still hate me?” His response was, “How could you do that to me?” to which she replied, “I miss you”.

“I want everybody to know what happened so it won’t happen to them,” said Flato. “I’ve played slots all over the country and never had a problem like that. Even the people handing out the money said, ‘This isn’t right.’”

As for Navarro, she told the press that she wagered $400 of her own money on the slot and offered to share future winnings with Flato, but he declined.

Would you take a case like this to court? Flato is sure that that the cash is gone and he’s convinced no lawyer would take it to court. An even better question for you – do you think the button pusher is entitled to the winnings no matter whose money they’re wagering? Seminole Hard Rock does.
