  • I tried to use my circle account to deposit at miami club casino. I asked them for a code to send the payment and they said i would need a block chain account. Now i am confused. I thought the casino gave you the code to have the money sent.embarrassed

  • Hi rena, you don't need a blockchain account.   Just deposit as usual.

Hit the Bitcoin icon in the deposit section,

    enter your amount ,

pick your bonus or select no bonus and hit continue.

The code you're looking for will come up next.

Copy and paste the code  back at your wallet,

Copy and paste the converted bitcoin amount

    back at your wallet,

    hit send

  • That didnt come up when i tried to deposit and i did press bitcoin. I am going to contact direct casino support. Do you know if you have to withdraw bitcoin if you deposit bitcoin? Maybe if i get to a withdraw, someone can help me withdraw using bitcoin lol. Feels strange putting my feet in the water. Old dog learning new tricks wink. Thanks Jade .

  • Like I said, that code I sent you a pictue of doesn't come right up.

    First;

  • Put the amount in anhit continue.

CHOOSE YOUR BONUS comes up next.

Pick your bonus or no bonus and hit; PROCESS MY DEPOSIT

  • Yes that came up first, what do you press after that?  I did press continue but a small empty box appeared with no bitcoin address .Thats where i got stuck and contacted support.and you know the rest tongue.

  • Now, the window with the code shows up.

  • Copy and paste the code  back at your wallet,

Copy and paste the converted bitcoin amount

    back at your wallet,

    hit send

    Hope this helps,

    jade

  • Unless you wanta bonus, leave the 'ENTER COUPON CODE BLANk'  and hit I don't want a bonus

    and hit process my deposit.

The code picture shoud be next

  • I am going to try again to see what happens. Thank you jade for the help smiley.

  • Got it Jade, your the best. I saw process my deposit and stopped. I did not know you had to press process deposit and then get a code to have the payment sent. I think i am going to open another wallet so i will have 2 to choose from.

  • I just read where it is better to get  a wallet like block chain to transfer your bitcoins to if you use circle or coin because if they find out your using the bit coins for deposits at a casino, the account could get closed. Any input or experience would be appreciated. Also how do you withdraw? Not much info.

  • Choose bitcoin to withdraw, just give them your wallet code and the amount.

If all goes well, the funds will appear in your wallet.

    No fee, free.............................................

  • @rena, in the bitcoin section, I said that I got a lot of great information from cheetahwind and jenna.  Here is a link from the banking section of the forum's CASINOS section.

    https://lcb.org/onlinecasinobonusforum/casino-banking/to-those-who-are-finally-considering-bit-coin

This has a lot of great cheetah advice and info.

There are several good Bitcoin topics over in CASINOS-banking section.

    Good luck with bitcoin!

  • Good morning Rena and Jade, hope all is well.

Really honestly Coinbase and Circle will do you just fine if your not getting a large sum of cash into either wallet. The need for a separate wallet probably isn't necessary.

Also if you diversify how you cash out your coins if you do happen to come into a large sum of a win.  Will probably help you not get your account closed.  Like let say you win $2,000.  Cash that out into your wallet.  As long as you cash out oh say $500 a week, then know your going to go shopping at Walmart anyways.  Buy a gift card for the amount you need at CardCash.com you'll probably be ok even with a big win. (seriously check out card cash anyways, not only do you get gift cards at a discount, but they'll give you even more of a discount for buying the cards in BTC)

Just a few hints.  Really, honestly the average player probably won't have an issue with either BTC exchange.  It's just the big winners are the ones who I fear for.

Hopefully your enjoying BTC.  It really is a nice way to play at online casinos, mainly because you won't have to worry about your bank asking so many questions. (Especially with those foreign descriptors)  Even if they do, you can tell them with confidence that the money you got was from sale of currency.  Mainly because Coinbase is legal in the US.

  • @cheetahwind,

I have to admit that I really am enjoying the way that Bitcoin has changed my gaming experience.  It has taken out all the frustrations most US players have with online gaming.  I have never had this much fun.............

No more jumping through those hoops just to collect my winnings, which was a real nightmare, now that I look back on it.

Non USA, LCB members don't realize how lucky they are being able to play most any game at most any casino and instantly take their winnings via several online wallets!

Just wanna say thanks again for all of the Bitcoin posts filled with the information that gave me the conference I needed to take that plunge.

    Please keep 'em comming!

I don't think you realize how many people have been helped by those posts.

    All smiles,

  • Ah yes thats a great topic . I am going to add it to the bitcoin list of useful links.

Blockchain.info doesn't offer that great security, and it's kind of a pain to use. Plus, your private keys (what you use to spend bitcoin and control your wallet) are stored on there! If you want a truly high-security way of storing bitcoins, then try Trezor or Ledger wallet (they're hardware, but costly). Alternatively, there's a desktop wallet called Electrum where you can use 2FA for every transaction.

I personally use Bitcoin Core - I know my computer is clean, and it also offers a little more privacy than the other options.

  • http://www.mondaq.com/unitedstates/x/550186/tax+authorities/Voluntary+Disclosure+Window+Closing+On+Bitcoin+Users   a must read if your in the USA and using bit coin.

  • This would only apply to Coinbase users.  So far I haven't used Coinbase since I had discovered other ways to buy and sell my coin.

So as long as you haven't used Coinbase to buy any of huge value from them you should be ok.  There like usual looking for the big fish to fry that didn't report a sizable win or value increase on there taxes.

I'm going to going to guess that the average person wont have much to worry about, unless if you've cashed out $20,000 plus worth of coin then you might have something to worry about.

  • Was using circle and i managed to learn how which was an amazing feeling. Now that circle bit the dust, not sure what to do now. Really am not too keen on coinbase sick

Why not Cat50?   Is there something I sould know about coinbase?

I buy bitcoin all the time at coinbase with my PayPal Mastercard and never had any problems.

Cat50, what could they (IRS) possibly do to me?

Charge me with money laundering, $20 at a time!

You are a worry wart, like my momma would say.

  • If you read the post again my dear it says that they are going after the big fish. For me personally it is better to be safe then sorry. IRS is not something i would want to just brush off. If your happy then i am glad it is still working for you.

I've have read it and I can prove that I use my hard earned money to buy bitcoins, which is legal!

So, OK, yeah, I'm brushing it off.

Now, if I was a drug dealer or worst, I might be concerned.............

  • Last thing i will say on this- If it were legal in the USA to use your hard earned money to gamble then why in the world would we need a way to fund our gambling without coming under a lot of scrutiny. Also why can we not play at the good casinos....oh i forgot, they don't accept USA...wonder why? I really do not care who funds what in which way. My problem is as i stated i would not like to ever come under IRS radar. Like choclateman said, and i agree, some of the bitcoin wallets could be owned by the gov. and it is a trap. I too have proof of my income and since my son who works for the gov. can also verify what he gives me its not a matter of where the money comes from. It is a matter of big brother is watching and i do not like the thought of that.

At the end of the day again and i regress, if you are happy with the way you are depositing then by all means ignore this post and carry on. Wish you all the luck in the world.

    I'm sorry I asked!

  • kisshearttongue Jade you really are the best. I did not mean to sound rude i am just worried is all. Maybe your mother is right and i will get worry warts laugh_out_loud.

  • I will give you some sound advice.I would keep a certain amount of coins in what you call a "hot" wallet (like paxful.com/localbitcoins.com ect) on tap. The leave the "cold storage" as they call it (you can google the terms) in your main wallet, not only does your deposit go in faster but you can also transfer just as a tip from one paxful account to the bext FREE of charge (they don't take any miner fees!) You can have many paxful accounts. This is how I keep my winnings from my losses and tally up each week using bitcoins ;) also a nice way to buy if you don't want to wait on circle! lol :) Good luck, hope I helped out a bit x

  • Bitcoin confusing at first thats forsure! I lost out on some that I had purchased because could not remember where I had them sent. They said nothing I can do without the walllet saved to and that super long passcode. I was discouraged over that but gave it a go and it gets easier the more times you buy and then deposit them into casino account. I have since done so many times.

  • The bitcoin goes into your Btc account. Then you can fund a casino with it.
