Hey, just want to know what anybody thinks about using My Paylinq as a deposit method? I read about them on their site but would like a second opinion. I know there is some kind of weird 30 day waiting period for a cashout I think, but I was mainly interested in using them for depositing. Any thoughts?

I also use MyPayLinQ for deposits, but have never tried withdrawing from there. I have cashed out money to there but use it to deposit at other casinos when I do. Never have had any problems with them at all. Once the account is set up it is a quick and easy way to deposit at the casinos that accept it and often you can make lower deposits than with a credit card.
One thing to consider first bongo is if the casino will let you withdraw by a different method when you deposit by MyPayLinQ... some will only allow you to withdraw by the same method used to deposit.

Hi all
Now that i will start depositing again, its seems my withdrawal methods are limited. Of course, always thinking in a positive light, i wonder how i will cash out my winnings.
I have no bank account and my check is deposited directly to a regular mastercard...not a prepaid type. I have set up a prepaid card for my casino deposits that do international, so i shouldnt have a problem there.
In my research I found MyPayLinQ that is available to US players. Has anyone here used them. Have you withdrawn with them. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know of an alternate method. Its my understanding that they send money thru Western Union which would be great since i dont possibly see how i could catch a foreign check.
Thanks Bunches -

Hi Looney,
Paylinq is limited to only certain casinos and i have opened an account because CWC accepts this method. Paylinq terms:
For the first 30 days of opening an account you can not withdraw more than your total deposits for the month.
It takes up to 15 days to process your withdrawal.
Paylinq fees are $20 plus what the fees are with Western Union.
Once you set up an account with them and get your docs approved, which took a couple hours for me you are good to go.

Looney, I agree with what lipstick has said about MyPayLinQ, they are very convenient and easy to use for depositing to casinos. They do charge you for every deposit to them, but not for depositing that money in a casino.
I just did a cashout thru them for the first time last week. It does take 2 weeks to get the money and for the US the only way they do send it is by Western Union.
But, here is the rub... you can't cash out less than $300. When I cashed out $325, I received $275 in the end after all the fees were taken out for MyPayLinQ and for Western Union. Kind of pricey, but being in the US, most options are just as costly.
In the past I would cash out from a casino into MyPayLinQ and that goes pretty quickly about 2 to 4 days at reputable casinos. But since it was always a small amount I just used that money to redeposit into casinos a little at a time.
One other advantage is that you can often deposit in a casino with only $10 to $20 at a time using this method.

Never tried to send them a deposit that way, but a withdrawal cost about $30 for the Western Union part of the fees. So, not sure that is a good way to go... Cause then you also have the deposit fee from MyPayLinQ too...
If that is the way you plan to go, you might want to make it a bigger deposit so you won't have to do it again soon... although, putting a big deposit in MyPayLinQ might not be wise...
Another thing you might do if that is how you plan to send the money is to send a money order direct to a casino. Or use the casino's own WU or MG options. If they don't show them, check their website and/or support.

If you don't mind paying anywhere from $15 to skies the limits for Western Union it's a good method. Otherwise Money Gram will let you send up to $500 for $9.99.
If you send the transfer betweeen 10 am and 10 pm eastern and put in the transfer control ID number in the cashier. They will generally make the funds available within 30 minutes. Otherwise if the transfer is made outside of those times. You'll have to wait til next morning for the transfer to happen.
Also make sure whomever is inputting your transfer details. To make sure they are spelling the names and country right. Otherwise the only other fee I'm reading about is a $10 surcharge for not having details put in right.
Otherwise there hasn't been a fee I've experienced for using this method other than what you pay Money Gram or Western Union. Your best bet would be Money Gram if you have a Wal-Mart near you. -

At this point I don't mind spending 10 bucks for same day deposit. I know it sounds stupid but I'm just a little paranoid these days about having to go somewhere away from the computer to make a deposit. There's a Money Gram (at a drugstore) like half a mile from my house. Think I'll give it a try.

Hey cheetah, thanks for the advice. I dep. $50 the other day via Money Gram. I went to the local drugstore and had to use a red phone to call in all the info., then I had to go the counter and pay. Really wasn't that stressful, overall went pretty smooth. Will definitely be doing this for My Paylinq deposits.

This is for a sure a good option for those who are already getting socked with load fees, foreign transaction fees, per transaction or monthly fees, and about any other fee a prepaid card can come up with. Especially if you only plan on doing a load or two every month. Otherwise my only complaint about using money transfer services is the fact that if your doing too many of them. The fees get ridiculous. I'm glad it worked out for you tho

Walk softly and carry a big check! Today I tried to put a $25 deposit in MyPayLinQ since I have not deposited anywhere forever...
My deposit was denied and gave me a code # for the reason it was denied... off I went to live chat and asked what that code meant...
They said that they had to deny it because their processors were limiting the amount of deposits they could take in on any one day! Not how many they can pay out, but how many they can take in... that tells me they are having some major problems...
They said I could try again tomorrow during the day and it should go through just fine... hmm I think maybe I won't be doing that!

Mainly if your caught doing more than $900 worth of cash transfers per week they have to keep a record of your drivers license or social security number. If you send more than $2,500 in any given transaction, they'll require a bit more information. So as long as you keep it under the $500 for the $9.99 for Money Gram you should be safe.
Another word of caution, is change up your sending location especially if your going to do more than one transfer per week.
As with the issue with the processor, the Chinese processors have been becoming more and more of a pain in the ass of late. I know they've been causing quite a few issues over at Slotocash. Telling them to do things there cashier apparently just isn't capable of doing.
So in the end, I end up with a charge on my statement. I have to wait about 3 business days for it to settle. Then I have to send a copy of the "settled" transaction to the casino. Then in about 24 hours I finally get credit, but gawd what I pain to wait almost 4 to 7 days to play money. -

Well all of that might be true cheetahwind, but this was a single $25 credit card deposit, not a lot of deposits, not a lot of money, just $25 and the last deposit was a couple of months ago and that is what they told me exactly... that their processors were limiting the amount of deposits they could accept in a day... not just from me, but total deposits for all depositors in a 24 hour period... that is why it is worrisome for us US folks...

Wow, Katt that is a little scary. Cheetah, thanks for the warning; I'm not a big depositor. I mean I made one on I think Saturday for $50 and I wanted to do one today for $60. Then I might not get to another one for a couple of weeks. (My Birthday is in 3 days so hopefully I'll be graced with some freebies, we'll see.) Uh, what kind of processor is that with Sloto Cheetah? Is that one of the credit card or prepaid dep. methods?

It's with a credit card processor, essentially they want to redirect me to the verified by visa page. To see if I'm signed up with Verified by Visa. Which I'm not, and apparently RTGs cashier isn't capable of doing a verified by visa transaction by itself.
I know in the past they've sent you off to another web site if the processor had Verified by Visa attached to it. Then brought you back to the cashier page when the transaction was completed.
It's all kind of weird and even Slotocash's management and security team is baffled by it. Oh well, at least eventually I get to play with my money. Versus getting told tough cookies.
Yes Kattboot it's always worrysome when a processor does start limited the amount and when of transactions. So yes it could be a sign there on the way out the door, but in todays volatile gaming environment who knows whats really going on. All I know is, apparently if you want to play online from an unlicensed territory you play by whatever rules the casino and the processor set forth. -

Well I know they just went through some banking issues, which I'm guessing is why they were removed at both casino groups. At least CWC and Deckmedia got smart and removed them when they showed signs of financial issues. Versus letting us deposit and play with them and then have our funds disappear.
As of today it looks as if MyPaylinQ has found a new batch of banks and processors. Here's to hoping that they make there way back into CWC and Deckmedia's cashier, then again it could be a ploy that everything is ok. Yet there on there way of failing again. -

Hey, is anyone having any trouble lately making deposits? My last transaction has been locked by processor whatever that means. Just curious, I'm hoping to get this resolved. I used MG to make a deposit and when I went to confirm, the thing locked up on me. Any thoughts? Never had this happen before. I'm waiting to hear back from CS.

First I've heard about it, I haven't made a deposit via My Paylinq in months. I got lucky on a free chip or two and was able to just use MP for transfers here and there so I haven't made direct (Money Gram) deposits in a while. Man, I hope this one doesn't go south too, we're running out of options here.
My old VISA prepaid stopped working there a long time ago. -

My honest guess is that they've closed up shop, and have gone the way of the dark side. I haven't seen a lot of comments on them. Yet from the few people I have seen post. They've been waiting for Moneygram or Western Union payments since like February. Things are looking pretty grim with My PaylinQ. Pretty much when the last round of processor issues happened with them. That to me would have been a sign to get your money out as soon as possible. Who knows, maybe they won't pull a Quicktender or a eWalletExpress and run off with people's funds. Yet that's my honest guess.

Well this just @#$%^&* sucks ! That was the option I used when Quicktender went belly up for us Americans. I haven't used it in a few weeks and I ask CS at Slotastic yesterday about it and they said as of a few days ago they stopped using it. I can only assume that all the Jackpot Capital sites have dropped it as well. I was going to switch over to the Paste and Pay option maybe today but I'm just so paranoid now I don't know what to do. Somebody please give me some good news.....

Thanks Katt, I was going to try and register with them today but like I said I'm so paranoid now this thing really has me on edge. I have a regular MC credit card --nothing fancy, just a regular one from Orchard Bank , well Capital One now; that I was thinking about registering. I just want to know that the credit card company isn't going to be calling or send a nastygram if I buy a voucher. Second, do they accept (to buy vouchers) a debit card from checking 'cause I was thinking about starting another one.

Hi bongo... I use a regular debit card from a fairly large credit union to buy the vouchers and have never had any eyebrows raised. The nice thing about the voucher deal is that you are simply buying a voucher to shop online and though they can be used at gaming sites they can also be used other places on the web.
I have used them for more than 2 years without a problem at any time. They are not like the E-wallets at all. I don't use my main bank account, but I also don't worry and use one of my cards from 2 other very small credit unions that I have little to no money in most times.
On that note, I should say that the 2 cards I use from those very small credit unions work at a lot of casinos directly as a visa deposit with no problem either. So, if you are thinking of opening a special separate account, let me recommend you look for a small credit union and get an account with a Visa debit card.
Good Luck!

Hey bongo... I don't know if P&P takes MasterCard. You would need to check the site. I don't know your financial situation, but the credit unions I mentioned almost all automatically give you a debit card tied to the checking account (these are just like bank checking accounts) when you open an account (you do have to wait for it to arrive in the mail) and most of those work where regular Visa credit cards work.
I recommended a credit union because from experience, they do not have the same guards in place that blocks those transactions at major banks. From a purely financial viewpoint it is always good to belong to a credit union... often can get much better deals on loans, etc. than at a major bank.
Whatever you choose to do, I would suggest the new account be in addition to and totally separate from your regular day-to-day banking stuff. I find that also helps me to control how much I use to gamble. I have to arrange to have a balance in the credit union and can always make sure it is ONLY what I want and can afford to have available to gamble. Also, should you run into a bad casino or a bad processor, you will not have everything you depend on financially at their mercy.
You are right to be as careful as you are being about it. I know you will work out something good for yourself and your money.
