  • Paypal should work with online casinos to allow paying and withdrawing with Paypal.

  • Paypal should work with online casinos to allow paying and withdrawing with Paypal.

    There are a few sites for US players that do accept Paypal but not many and it is still illegal to gamble online here in the States....damn it!!! wink laugh_out_loud

    .

    Then Paypal could find itself in the same boat as poker sites when Black Friday hit. I would love to see it though. I think an easier option would be for Amazon gift cards for a payout option from poker sites.  A reloadable Paypal card? Oh my gosh, what a possible option.
    Make it so, number One.
  • PayPal did work with the online casinos and gambling in the early years, until they were forced out of the industry.

    I can't remember the exact year, but the New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer sued them for whatever he thought was illegal at the time, and forced them to pay a HUGE fine, and get out of the industry.  It was a big blow to all involved.  It would be wonderful if they got reinvolved.

  • I do gamble with my Paypal account. I always have, too! Previously, I used my Paypal Mastercard {not pre-paid} to deposit at places like BetonSoft/Saucify, Intertops, Cleos, Lincoln/Liberty, Miami, and iNetBet.

    Currently, I use my Paypal to buy Bitcoin on LocalBitCoin.com & I deposit & withdraw my funds via Bitcoin; in & out of my PayPal account.

    Cleos actually accepts Paypal payments for VS points, so you don't even need to have the Business Debit Mastercard from PayPal to make a deposit there. Unfortunately, you can not withdraw into Paypal but you can withdraw into PayToo in 48 hours or less & then transfer to a virtual credit card within your Paytoo account & add that card to your Paypal & withdraw the funds that way. smiley

    Maybe one of these systems will work for you. Good luck! smiley

  • Thanks Jenna am going to look into the bitcoin option you mentioned. I did not know that paypal dealt with bitcoin. thanks again  smiley

  • Shirlsplay,

    First, I want to elaborate on how I utilize PayPal with Bitcoin. It is not a feature that is implemented within PayPal's options. Here is how it works for me:

    FUND PAYPAL
    SELECT TRADE ON LBC
    NOTIFY SELLER OF AMT I AM PURCHASING
    AN ESCROW IS CREATED SECURING YOUR BTC UNTIL PYMNT { PROTECTS YOU }
    SEND THE MONEY TO THE SPECIFIED PAYPAL ACCOUNT { USUALLY AN INVOICE IS SENT }
    SELLER MARKS PAYMENT COMPLETE & BITCOIN IS RELEASED INTO YOUR WALLET

    I DEPOSIT INTO MY CASINO ACCOUNT FROM MY WALLET
    PLAY & WIN smiley  thumbs_up
    I WITHDRAW FROM MY CASINO ACCOUNT INTO MY WALLET
    I SELECT A TRADE TO SELL MY BTC FOR PAYPAL FUNDS
    I SELL MY BTC TO A TRUSTED LBC TRADER
    I RECEIVE MY FUNDS VIA PAYPAL
    I RELEASE THE BTC TO THE LBC TRADER

    If you are going to delve into Bitcoin via LocalBitCoins.com, I should let you know that it is a Peer to Peer service and that the Selling Price on LBC.com is always higher then the actual value of the coin. For that reason, it is important that you develop a rapport with a few traders to better negotiate your purchases/trades. There are always other services that have bitcoin for sale at market value but they do not work with Paypal the way LBC does.

    If you are in the United States and are looking for a way to get your money in and out of a Paypal account instantly ~ then this is for you! However, if you are more concerned about transaction fees and don't mind waiting a day or two, there may be some other options that would suit you better.

    Shirley, if you do decide to start trading on LBC's, may I suggest creating your account & then going to Thomas in the chat for a quick orientation. He will direct you to the most secure traders that are available when you are ready to trade.

    If you set the search up to find all Trades for BTC via Paypal payment method, you will see a list of traders & their going rate. The more you are spending the lower the rate will be. I highly recommend RESPECT (although he is more into buying then selling) & Johnny49  for your first trades. Johnny 49 consistently has a rate lower then most & he is located in San Diego, always instant & very professional.

    I know Cheetah has experience with LBCs & I hope he can chime in here & give any advice that I may not have included.
  • One more thing, BTC seems overwhelming at first. I felt like it was quantum physics when I initially researched it. Just stick with it because it is a breeze, once you get the hang of it.

    There are parts of BTC that are still over my head, like the logarithm & half-life cycle etc. Some of the lessons in my Physics class were never really absorbed.  8'| worn_out
  • Jenna hit the nail on the head pretty much if your looking to work with Pay Pal.

    Otherwise Local Bit Coins has several options for buying bit coin with.  Such as a bank account deposit, wire transfer, buying a reload it pack, buying a specific gift card, the list could go on.

    So pretty much as suggested sign up with Local Bit Coins, then find the option that works best for you.

    Honestly I'm happy with buying Reloadit packs and from time to time going to my local US Bank or Wells Fargo and making a cash deposit into someone's account.

  • Thank you so much for the info , it would be nice if I could use my Paypal to fund Bitcoin . Looks like a few hoops to jump thru but I wll try
