- i use moneybookers, and i dont have a problem with them, other than the fees which are a bit of a joke really, but it is still nice to be able to withdraw to my card from moneybookers, and get money faster from casinos paid into that than paid into my neteller account,
i can get a payment from jackpot party in like 2-3 hours from initial withdraw in my moneybookers, and a few other sites that fast too and i also withdrew to my bank from moneybookers too and i got the correct amount it said
leaveall, did you do the correct amount and check the exchange rate correctly, and make sure u did the exchange in canadian dollors and not another currency, just a suggestion, i have made this mistake before and realized im due less cos of the exchange rate, just an idea.....
- Thanks for the reply RJ, its not a currency exchange issue...now I'm mad tho because I just received another to my account that is short the exact same amount!!! 24$ short again FFS...so now they owe me 48$.
Has anyone else ever had a problem with MB like this and if so where you able to get it resolved and payed back?
- Looking at the Skrill/Moneybookers website, they do make mention of fees:
"14.3. Your transactions may be subject to currency conversions. If you make a payment from your Moneybookers Account denominated in one currency to a Moneybookers Account denominated in another currency, you will be asked to either make the payment in the currency of your own Account or in any other currency. If you chose the currency of your own Account, then the recipient will pay the fee for the conversion into the currency of his or her Account. If you chose the currency of the recipient’s Account, you will pay the fee for the currency conversion into the currency of the payment. If you chose a currency that is neither the currency of your own Account nor the currency of the recipient’s Account then you will pay the fee for the conversion into the currency of the payment, and the recipient will pay the fee for the conversion of the payment currency into the currency of his or her Account.
14.4. For every currency conversion, Moneybookers will apply the conversion rate as displayed on our Website. In addition we will apply a foreign exchange fee, which is also displayed in the Fees section of the Website and which is expressed as a percentage applicable in addition to the transaction fee."
Does this affect you?

Thanks for taking the time to find that blue...but my account is CAD and it was a withdraw to my bank CAD. Until the last 2 transactions (short $24 and $24) I was not charged a fee other than the 3$ to put in my bank. I am waiting to hear back from MB and I hope we can sort this out
I wasn't sure if there was a currency conversion or not. I hope you can get it sorted and get your $48 back.
