  • Hi everyone,

I've just been made aware (thank you Gypsydreams) that Slots Jungle and Desert Nights processors accidentally double charged many customer credit cards from the middle to end of July. Emails have been sent from both saying it was a processor error and apparently it happened to many people. They said they were sorry but the extra charges were automatically refunded by the processors but this is not strictly the case as double charges are still owed.

You will need to follow the instructions in the email.  Please check your bank statements for July to look for these accidental double charges.

If anyone has seen double charges, please tell us how it went for you getting them back.

  • hey blue.  since you are around (and my fav next to daniel smiley), thought i'd pose a question for ya re. slots jungle:

How on earth do you ever find out how much you will get processed for pending withdrawals and what exactly are limit conditions?  it's ridiculous.  although my "vip rep" there has been helpful, the finance dept is absurd.  you know how much i spend there since i'm always begging daniel for my $50 cashback - lol.  i've only cashed out 3 times now (still waiting for august 9th withdrawal) and not very much.  after my 1st time i was told they'd clear the $3000.00 (as stated clearly as max allowable for withdrawals on their cashier page) but then of course as usual, i played it and lost it before they processed it.  next time i was told $1500 (after arguing "hey what abt prior 3k approval" to no avail) but lost it again and this time instead of taking the $3000 they processed 1200 and kicked back the rest (that's current payout i'm waiting on).  now i've asked my rep if they will process the 1800 this next time (due 8/21) or if not, how much - "don't know" is basically all i get told - everytime.  in the meantime i've moved to "golden parrot" and still have no idea what the heck that means eventhough i asked... it's very frustrating as i certainly deposit more (monthly) than they are ever willing to process.  any tips or info would be helpful.  thanks blue, as always.  smiley

  • Thank you beardcat  embarrassed

Perhaps Daniel can shed some light on this.  It seems to be changing all the time and I feel as confused as you are beardcat.

I will have a word with him to see if we can get some clear guidelines on max amounts of withdrawal.

  • From what I have gathered about these recent "processors".  Is basically long story short.
Like usual they keep changing countries, processing groups, and so on and so forth.
Yet the issue I have ran into, isn't so much as the double charging as much.  As much as they try to send a deposit thru.  The processor responds back with some funny error code.  The casino takes it as a decline.  Then processor still sends a charge thru like nothing was wrong, takes the money. Then you have write the casino for credit.
Well my problem so far is, I've had 2 of these transactions with Deckmedia (the owner of Slotocash and Desert Nights) so far.  2 months ago I was promised a refund from one processor.  Still to this date no refund.  Then slightly over a month ago.  A similar issue happened.  I was told they weren't going to offer credit initially. Well after flaunting around my VIP status enough.  I did get credit, but was still told I was getting a refund.  Still none to this date.
To add more to troubles, apparently from June 1st, to around August 7th.  There processing banks that the processors had been using.  Had been "tacking" on fees that they incurred for processing US transactions.  Since they didn't have an agreement with the US to accept the US dollar credit card wise.  Granted these fees weren't much (only a $0.01 to $1), but when your using a prepaid card.  Only loading what you want to spend on your card.  Then they try to take more than what was loaded.  Makes for a godawful headache.
So granted once again credits were provided and apologies were provided.
It would seem as if in the long run, Deckmedia doesn't seem to have a very good grip.  On whom to really trust for processing credit card payments.  I still play with them, mainly because I do get treated very well.  Granted I haven't found the cash out button yet.  Yet from what I've told for a US player.  There wire transfers seem to be pretty timely.
So yes, this does seem to be an issue that they've been dealing with.  Now the question remains, how much longer must we suffer as players.  For them not finding very reliable processors.

  • I guess they are finding any way to get a deposit through and adding cents makes it an odd amount to be processed which would not draw attention to the deposit.

These double deposit refunds are taking quite a while to be processed.  I hope you get yours soon.

  • I still have not received mine, although support has been helpful, I finally feel the need to post this myself. It can take up to 30 days to receive these refunds and when you have several extra charges it adds up. I will let you all know when it has been taken care of. I am very glad to have the support of LCB.  grin

Thanks Gypsydreams.  It will be interesting to see how long it takes.
