  • Today 32red and Go Wild have announced that when Go Wild closes its doors to UK players in the next few days, they wil be transferring UK players over to 32red. This is a great improvement on many others who are referring players over to Betway IMO. I've also read that any players who already have an account at 32red will have a one off opportunity to take a new welcome bonus on their go wild account, though ongoing use of both accounts to claim bonuses will not be tolerated.

Players from outside the UK will not be affected by the change, but if you are in the UK how do you feel about this? Will you miss Go Wild? Will you play at 32red ?

  • To be perfectly honest, I think these sites no longer accepting UK players are tight fisted.  I'm sure they can afford to pay the 15% tax on UK deposits (assuming it still goes through as the GBGA are taking it through the court at the moment).

As for losing GoWild, I'm not particularly bothered tbh as I rarely play on there anyway.  I do play at 32Red quite often and I'm glad we're not losing that one..

  • Along with tax, there is probably a matter of licenses they need to issue with new legislation which also cost a lot. Apparently their income from UK players is less than the cost of continued operation in UK market, or its not big enough to be worth all the effort.

Now, Im not from UK but I would feel quite ok about the account transfer if I were. 32 Red proved to be very reliable for several years I played there, and its definitely my favorite Microgaming casino.

  • It's a case of choice being eroded in my book - I do play at 32red regularly, and I don't bother with Go Wild, but I respect the choice of those that do play there, and am not sure it is right for account information to be transferred in this way.. okay I know companies but and sell each other all the time but just selling customer information, somehow it just feels a bit wrong to me.

As blueday says, these changes would mean a little cut in profits, but surely 85 percent of the UK income is better than zero? I guess I must not understand something? I had no idea it was being challenged in court, that is something I'll definitely be looking into.

  • They'll make up for the taxes the pay by tighten up the games. I also don't think its right to sell your personal information to another casino. They should send a message to their players recommending 32red. But not just transferring their data over to them.

  • chocolateman, Microgaming casinos dont have the option to tighten the games. RTGs do have it, yet even they cannot to it for more than few percent, and it would be naive to think they havent already done so as much as they could (well, maybe not all of them, but majority most certainly did).

So regarding tightness, I really dont think games will be affected by current events.

  • You really believe that? If the stock market can be control. Surely a simple gaming software could also.

  • In the light of  this news it is surely  great that it is 32Red who did the acquisition

  • Try checking new red32 accounts that have been transferred from Go wild for £10. I got it. Ask support.

I do believe games are fair, would look pretty silly making deposits while believing games aren't fair or altered by casinos as they see fit...
