According to the rumor mill from a casino rep, usually a good source, ALL of the Rivals will be closing to all USA players on Aug. 1.

Get your funds out soon, if you have any in any Rival casinos, Americans!

It's said that Casino Lust is switching to RTG so the Americans will still be able to play.

The pickings are getting really slim.

Our government wants to be able to control taxation of gambling revenue and to prevent money-laundering activities, and so are shutting down sites and charging casino operators and funding providers with criminal activities.  In order to avoid the long arm of Uncle Sam, a lot of casinos are blocking their US players.  Hopefully the government will get their regulations in place soon so that we can once again enjoy our freedom to gamble online.

it is shocking, that this day and age, america is doing this to americans freedom, but i do feel fortunate that i am in the uk and we dont have these strict tax laws, and we dont have to declare when we win on any form of gambling....

so i hope 1 day the usa politicians sort this out soon, gl all

And can i just add this too, i think everyone should be able to do what ever they choose and not get told by goverments what they can and can not doo, ok thats me done, hehe

I'd like to know what will happen to these casinos once they disallow US players. We had so little options to begin with and that's what kept Rivals and some of the others alive is US.

I have to say i won't miss much with the Rivals going , i had the worst time with my luck at them.. but also i don't look forward to regulations to online casinos by our government truthfully.. just going to get messy in my opinion.

I liked Rivals because they didn't care how many free chips you used in a row or between deposits.  They also had a few games that made it easier to make a playthrough, even though you had to spend a lot of time getting there.  Some of these casinos will change platforms.  Some will do just fine with non-North American clients.  Others will crash and burn.

They really should warn their members about the upcoming events, and not just have people get caught with their money in a vortex.

I think eventually they will just close their doors similar to what English Harbor is doing.  Rival casinos for the most part built a terrible reputation and will not be able to compete in markets with established, reputable casinos like 32Red and Partycasino.  They are not in the same league and their software really isn't that good (IMO).

Like Chillymellow mentioned "others will crash and burn"...I think that is Rival's destiny.
