William: May I have your Login name and email address please?cmurphy: i would like u to look at my acct jst to be sure there are no issues
    cmurphy: mizcindy

    William: One moment please.
    cmurphy: take ur time
William: Is there a specific question I can help you with?cmurphy: i jst want to be sure that i am elligible to w/draw
cmurphy: others have said they have issues w multiple accts when they never did
cmurphy: i have heard that lots and lots of times
William: If you play from the computer or location of someone that has an account, or allowing someone to play fromI your computer or location, the accounts will also be linked to each other
    cmurphy: hello?
cmurphy: well, is that the case in my situation
    cmurphy: ?
cmurphy: this is not my pc
cmurphy: and i dont know wat they do
cmurphy: is there anything noted on my acct that could prevent me from w/drawing winnings
cmurphy: rivals have a reputation for being unpredictable

    William: One moment please.
William: there's a chance your the withdrawal can be denied but then again, each withdrawal will be reviewed by management

    cmurphy: thats a little vague
cmurphy: y do u say "may be denied"
cmurphy: i get the feeling that it will defineately be denied but ur not telling me that b/c u want me to deposit

William: Is there anything else I can help you with?
cmurphy: well, ya. wat does "may be denied" mean

William: I'm afraid I know about that

cmurphy: why is tha support at tha rival casinos always so vague. i don't think i have ever had any of my questions answered w a straight answer
    cmurphy: ty anyways william
cmurphy: i wont be making any deposits tho but i do appreciate ur time
cmurphy: even if it wasnt helpful
    cmurphy: not ur fault

  • Are these chat reps trained in the art of "avoidance".  Seems to me that they are.

He deliberately did not answer your question properly....vague as vague can be.

Good decision to stay clear mizcindy unless they can provide you with a proper answer.  Have you posted in the direct casino support section for Tropica asking the question?

    blue

  • That chat session gives me a chill up my neck.

Couldnt be anymore indirect or vague on answering your initial question.

I have not had any trouble with Tropica so far, but I see this kind of thing, and it makes me become a little more careful.

                                                            PMM

  • They still have the same support for all Rival casinos  so the only way to know if you will get paid is to ask each casino by mail or play without a bonus. I lost $1400 from Da Vincis' gold because I didn't ask. You don't want to do that.

  • In addition to what everyone else said, I think each and every support rep should be required to take a course in English, grammer, and communication.
I have deposited there before, but makes me weary now.

  • this is why i always try the casinos ability to pay out first on free chips.
if they meet that criteria, then i will deposit with them.  think about it.

  • This was something that she did that was very good to protect herself, to verify if she did make a deposit would she be able/eligible to withdraw, instead of just hopping right in with a deposit and then later finding out reasons as to denied withdraw, she did the right thing and found out the wrong things about a casino.
But there are other possiblities examples such as your faxed paperwork is not in order, you didn't make playthrough, info on account does not match, along with you have other accounts with other rivals.
But still a simple direct answer would be appreciated, no one wants to be ripped off, if they can see you won't be paid winnings when you deposit and avoid disclosing that information, it is a rip-off.

Thats the number one object to us when playing a casino, is getting your money with no problems when you win.

  • why are you talking as if i am not here??

i have many of my own issues with RIVAL right now, i only have a half hour break, so don't have time to get into it...so i have to be short and sweet.

i most definately do not like the way they are vague.  i don't like many other things either.  but one thing for sure, i know if i want to do business with a casino immediately on how they handle my first withdrawal request.  customer service is #1  with me, and speed #2.  if i do not get what i expect out of my interactions in my first visit, then i do not have a second one.  that's it.  i am not taking a chance risking my money.  end of story.

  • grin i am so glad canadians are not allowed at rival. one less shady casino group to deal with cool
  • Nal, i understand first impressions are important, but i've seen where casinos have had a good impression first, get you hooked then take you straight to hell, and also have seen where it was first off a bad impression then turned to casino heaven. Casinos also have that good/bad impression, i guess it would be individuals choice.

Get a free chip, and whether you win or lose, you find customer service was excellent, you find that it has a good reputation for it's cash-outs, policies, terms and conditions are in order, no run arounds or long waits, then you will desposit.
If those things arent right then you move along to the next.
Which is absolutley very good advice, and i say try live chat out maybe 3 times before to see if you get the same impression.

But i have read where some have had very good experiences with rivals and some or have had very bad, and the same with RTGS, microgaming, and whatever else.

Most definetly we are finding out that more and more live/chat reps need more training, because they can be the source of a descion to deposit.
As we see here in this thread, he didn't do well at all..making the casino itself look vague and shady. But is Tropica really because of one bad chat experience?

  • I am wondering if the chat rep was speaking as "anything is possible" and yes there is a chance to be denied.

It's impossible to say its a sure thing that a player will be paid until many factors are considered. Were the documents in order? Did the player make the correct playthrough amount if taking a sign up bonus....etc.

I think what might of been a better choice of words is to say "at this point now you are eligible to recieve a cash out.

All things considered language barriers are going to exist. We have to remember these operators are dealing with many many different languages. That is no easy task for any chat rep.

    Lips
  • Well, frankly if ANYONE is nuts enough to play on someone elses computer while gambling this is not the brightest thing to do. I'd NEVER play on anothers computer due to the possible chance they might play on my account without my knowledge.

Next, understand that you are asking a CS person. They have NO POWER to answer such a question as this could come back and bite them in the ass. "But Tom said this was permitted!" Plus, they may not understand the question or have ever experienced such or know all the rules.

It's like asking the mailroom clerk what the profit margin, gains, losses the company had last week. You'd ask the CFO or one of their accountants for that answer.

    I'd suggest only that:

    1. Get your own computer
    2. email the manager and explain (The CS should have done this)

This can also happen if the IP addy is the same, to fix this, people ahve ahd to show their ID while they are in the pic and also some extra info.

BUt this is kind of rare unless you're piggybacking of someone else's signal and this can cause problems.

  • Wow all these things to look out for while playing at an online casino makes me think its just not worth the hassle. Although I cant really say ive had a problem with any casin so far, but the thought of the stress some people go through just doesnt seem worth it. I have never looked into whether I can withdraw or not, or actualy asked any questions like that, but certainly makes me aware now and will ask all those questions.

  • True that Genenco, you should be on your own PC while playing.
Not to say that this is the case, but players can be just as shady as the casino they are accusing.

I had an incident where my daughter played her accounts on my PC, and also signed-up on a few that i had already been sign-up at, she did not know it was causing any harm, innocently done, and i was gone out of town. Now she knows better, and i told her she NEEDS to read terms and conditions of any casino she signs-up at.
I had to fix a few but i am leery now, as to if i could ever cash-out on the ones she played, also i can prove that theres 2 of us with our own banking accounts, mistake explained, some were lieniant.

Honesty is the best policy and has the most wins either way. But some don't give a damn and just want your money, and will say anything to get it. I wonder if live/chat reps work on commision, what do you think? Maybe they get %'s ?

Aotearoa, as long as you are doing the right things you should have no problems, but yes good idea to ask questions, you just never know.

Wow, good question and I'll say I'm not too sure. I will say, that there's a chance that if a CS worker DOES get a person to deposit by encouraging them, possibly they may get somehting, but we'd need a worker to confirm that.

I find it a "little" strange that we don't see them at all. I have heard there's 100 or more at some of the bigger online casinos, so you'd think that some might drift around to gambling boards to engage in discussions about bad casinos or players and then we'd get the lowdown on this..

    ,.
  • Im very honest with the casinos, Always give correct details and dont have duplicate accounts that Im aware of. Although my partner plays at some rivals and myself at others but not on the same ones if that makes sense. I think I will be a lot more cautious from now on, not that I have heaps of pingers to worry about but still nice to know if your honest, they are gonna be honest with you. Happy gambling everyone.

I would not cut off a casino for being vague.  Mistrust is not an issue with me unless I get burned.  First off many of our casinos are from other countries, or employ people who do not speak English all that great, so I would not hold that against them, I would be more understanding.
