My name is shawn and i'm new at the gaming industry.
I have started playing Poker and casino and i figure that there is a lot i still need to learn.
        My question is this:
From your experience in the gambling industry what is better:

getting a big bonus on your money or low wagering and why?

Good question.  From what I've learned big bonuses are for frequent depositors who can afford to take moderate risks, whereas low wagering are for those without a lot of money to gamble, but want to reap some benefits playing at casinos.

Actually, I thought Big bonuses are to increase your bankroll thus giving you more money and more playing time for those of us who can't deposit big!

I would rather take no bonus at all and usually don't even with my little $20 deposits. But I sometimes take the bigger ones to get some playing time!

In my short time of playing online, I have found that, smaller bonus with low wagering are easier to make...for me anyway!

        Good luck!

        Hi shawn,

        welcome to the forum!

Obviously, bonuses with 300, 400 or 500 % look very attractive. But hey have a catch: the playthrough. I do not say it is impossible to manage this. But they are no fun!!!

Imagine depositing 50 credits, getting 300 to play with, clicking for hours to make a playthrough of e.g. 9.000, having in the end for example 2.000 in your account and being only able to withdraw a maximum of 700. This is not really exciting, this is work and no fun.

My advice for fun gambling and the fun of winning would be:

        1. Ignore bonuses. They restrict the allowed games and make you a hell of work.
        2. Set yourself a goal! As a no bonus player you can withdraw at any time. So. if you go in with 50, leave happily when your balance is over 100 or over 150. When you hit the mark you have made either 100 % or 100 credits profit.

Thus your chances of winning are much better and this can be done in less than an hour:-)

Start from low wagering then if you master the game already go for a big bonuses.

I just made my first huge playthrough the other day at Microgaming casino 21000 with a 700 start balance, and the only way for me to have a chance is to bet big, betting small is gonna make you have to play maybe 10-20000 spins which is almost surely gonna make you go broke, the other thing is MG bonuses got none max cashout, almost all rival/rtg ones got a max cashout so even if your lucky with a huge bankroll after being done you can only cashout a small amount, which is the main reason i never use bonuses cause if u hit big pretty fast you still got a big playthrough to make which makes is really easy to loose it all sooner or later.
