I read today that bovado is no longer accepting players from maryland, ny, utah and one other state.  Either too much heat (maryland especially) or processor problems.

I never quite understood why some states are restricted and why there tends to be more problems. I know Kentucky was a state that would get hit really hard with restrictions too. I know each state has their own laws and 11 of them hold pretty strict laws in comparison to other states. But needless to say even among those 11 states players can still play. Illinois is a perfect example of that.

NY was banned because alot of the indictments were from that state.  Maryland because of DOJ set-ups directly in the state.  Utah has severe laws against gambling and not sure about Washington.

I would comment my view of it all that any state that sponsors gambling officially with lotteries gambling of course should not be an issue any venue.. individually we should n't have our privaate transactions inspected and deciphered.. it is the responsibilty of us as users to report our income or whatever , we pay the taxes and rates of exchange if we wish ... speaking of course of online gambling in the latter phrase

There not really looking at our individual transactions, as much as actual DOJ reps and people going under cover.  Are discovering these processors and what not by themselves.  Essentially by playing at these casinos themselves, they can find out what the "cloaked" descriptors are and whos sending people in the US money, but providing a block on the major prosecuting territories.  It's essentially told the online industry not to bother with these states unless if you enjoy being in hot water.

There are various laws which makes online gambling illegal. Still players carry on with online gambling.
Eg: In America online gambling activities like cards, sports are make illegal, but still it is going with great speed.

some casinos are greedy and take the chance of being in the hot water and boiled instead of quiting while they are ahead

The doj so far has focused on sportsbooks and poker.  If they
decided to start with online casinos like jackpot capital, clubworld, etc then it would be over for u.s. players.  Not sure why gov't hasn't gone after them yet because they all accept credit cards with fake merchant descriptions.  That's the 10 year prison term for money laundering I believe.
