        Hello there fellow gamblers.

I have a question that hopefully you guys can answer.
I share a flat with 2 of my friends. I am on the online casinos quite regularly. I tend to play one casino for a while then jump to a new casino to benefit from the welcome bonus.
I have been winning quite a lot recently which has made my flat mates want in on the action .
My question is, will they be able to claim the welcome bonuses too, if we all share the same internet connection??? (we all have our own laptops BTW) As I noticed that the casinos say the bonuses are only available once per IP ADDRESS?!?! What does this mean exactly??? What do they record?? Surely it would record your MAC address so you could only have one account per laptop, and not your IP address. If I turn off my router for a while then turn it on again, I get different IP addresses, so recording the IP address is pointless?!?!
        Does everyone understand the question?

Thank you for your help guys

i think if u r under the same IP (share broadband between flats) i dont think u can claim it altogether.
but to make sure u can ask the casino live help.

They actually track both. If someone tries to register an account from another laptop from the same IP address the casino may not initially recognize it but it will eventually catch up to you especially when it comes time to cash out or try to take a bonus. It does not matter if you have a dynamic IP or a static IP because they do record your laptop/desktop serial number too.

The dynamic IP does change but its not a constant, therefore if you log into a casino at the same time as someone else sharing the same IP it will be the same.

I know it is a pain the rear because you could share a house with another person, be completely legit in your intentions, have separate accounts and banking details but the IP will nail you every time if not the unique serial number on your operating system will.

Due to the overwhelming amount of bonus abuse casinos have there is no other way to stop it. In reality i am sure they don't like it either because they are losing paying customers in the long run.

So i would not advise you to have your roommates sign up because you will eventually have your account locked and worse yet your winnings will be declined.

I am not sure if this is the case as one of my flatmates has already started playing on the casinos and he has successfully claimed a bonus AND withdrew money! Albeit the he withdrew much less than he deposited .
We are never online at the same time though. Maybe if we played at the same time then something would happen, but I believe multiple computers sharing the same IP CAN in fact have a different account on each of them with no problems.
I think they record the computer serial number when you download the casino software. This makes more sense.
