Hi desirae,

Yes, he's posted/reposted some very good advice. But just to reemphasize - take those casino warnings seriously! Read all you can on this subject (online gaming, bonus hunting, rogue casino's, etc.) and always, always read and know the terms on any bonus you do attempt (and abide by them) so you avoid any potential disappointment in the future. Do not be afraid to engage live chat or customer support if you're not sure about some of them . . . but also don't take their input as gospel; they do dispense incorrect info at times - they're only human. I'm not saying it's intentional, but keep transcripts of any and all communications you have w/customer support people or casino reps as well as screen shots of the current casinos rules and terms regarding play and bonuses, particularly any specific to your bonus at the time you commence completion of it. They may attempt to change these terms - and even attempt to apply them retroactively (which may even be legal for them since they almost always have clauses to the effect that the casino reserves the right to do whatever it wants, whenever it wants, and any decision they make within the casino management is final) but at least you will have something to try and fall back on should a dispute arise.
So if all this hasn't scared you away, good luck and have fun! -

Brad, thank you for not letting me explaining the disappointing sides of online gambling.
The very moment you put your own money in a casino be aware of anything and go only to casinos with a 100 % clean history. This should be common sense.
My personal, individual advice in this thread would be: When playing with your own money, do not accept deposit bonuses at all!!!
Go in with 50, collect a 100 and you´re off. Don´t get greedy, just collect the money. Bang, you are a winner!
This is not about relationship building :D
Of course, this doesn´t work every time. But keep in mind that they let you win x percent in the beginning of a session to lure you in.
In my two years of experience as a depositor without deposit bonuses I have made some decent profit of this.
And the top advantage is: You do not need a lot of playtime! Even if you play it soft (20 or 40 cents a game), you can collect in less than an hour.
That is how I do it with my own money and this would be my personal recommendation. -

Rokko, I'm glad someone is taking the time to explaing these things. First, gambling by nature is risky, and usually the casino have the upper hand (So don't gamble with what you can't afford to lose.)
I also wanted to say even with the free chips and tournaments, casinos prefer dealing with bettors that deposit their own money and wager the total value of their deposit (which is subject to the house edge--you're likely to lose some of your deposit.)
Fortunately, this forum is free and there are seasoned gamblers here you can ask advice and hopefully learn to be--if anything a shrewd negotiator rather than a "risk taker".
Cheers

Maybe you should be voted 'most humble'.
I hear this from the girls all the time
But, hey, this is really not brain surgery and/or rocket science.
Well, dang, that compliment came from someone who has two jobs. Brain surgeon and rocket scientist. Takes a lot of time... but the pay is good.
:)
BTW - I have a son named Rocco. Love the name. -

Don't you just love the pages and pages of rules and regulations which all end with..... the casino reserves the right to....delete your account, withhold your winnings, change the rules midstream, make and and all final decisions, etc. etc.
Does any of that stop me from playing? No. -

Casinos in general aren't a scam, well at least they don't belong to a typical one. If you play them, first of all you should remember that it's gambling so your wins or loses will be always a total luck and you can't become a better player in this case. For example, in case of card games it's possible to improve your playing skills but that's not possible for casinos, lotteries and so on. And the second thing is that house always wins :eusa_drool: All that casino system is made in such way that you'll anyway give them more money than you'll win. They manipulate people with the idea of easy winning of big money but that's not truth. Personally I like gambling and I'm lucky sometimes in case of casinos but I've never won really a great amount of money. And it's always such a temptation to try more and more after your lucky prize...
So my opinion is that playing casinos for fun is ok but you should always control your budget for them and don't concentrate too much on possible wins.
Also I should mention that real scam exists for them too but it's almost always for online ones genting casino online so you should be very careful with choosing them for playing. In better cases you'll just win nothing, in worse ones you can lose all money from your bank cards. -

It was happened to me that i lost 400 euros in a row on video poker double feature in microgaming casino on bets of 1 euro, so i think they have software to control the winnings and losses and give them out when the software comands and controls. I dont think that it could be such unluck on a row by my side.

Losing is a big part of gambling, people win people lose but the house always win because it's how the system works. I have mentioned a few times before that players who won actually won other players losses and the house always make profit no matter what. The only cheaters are those who provide fake games. It's kinda unfair of you to accuse casinos for cheating. Not everything is a conspiracy. If you have proof of this, that's another story.

Winning from the casino is a great miracle. If luck is smiling to you, then there is certainly a chance. But many players can not stop at the time and continue to play to the full loss, even if the casino gave them a win (luck smiled) Know how to stop comrades in time. And you will be happy.
