        I was having a wee look some of the previous topics and noticed one that I would like to drag up again......so sorry in advance, but I feel very strongly about the issue and have regularly emailed casinos about the i.d requirements only because of my own situation -  - here goes ..........
        I live in Bonnie Scotland and here we are not required to carry photo identification, as Im aware some other countries are, which is fair enough.  I have no passport, having never been inclined to travel and due to my health (shall we say), I do not like going out anywhere, unless with company, but only if needs must!!! So not much chance of me acquiring photo i.d. of any kind, so I send as much documents as possible to cover this but it is still not enough, and over the years I have lost out on winnings because of it.  >:D  I do understand the casino document requirements but surely there must be a way to verify your identity other than by photo i.d.  I don't know which countries all require these by law, but surely Scotland is not the only one.  I have explained my situation on numerous occasions and in great detail to some, but going by replies Ive had they have not even read my circumstances, and only noticed there was no photo i.d sent because the replies were pretty basic - please send photo i.d of some kind.
        I apologise for rabbittin on but I have quite a few issues Id like to bring up, not just to dis the casinos but to let them know, we users are not all the same.
          Aye, aye, I know, Im going but would love to hear what other ppl think about this issue.
        as it would mean a lot to me to think Im not just some mental case  that's got a bee in her bonnet just to wind up customer services on casino sites?????  Honestly though, surely its an issue which has to be looked into or laughed at insanely then looked into............

          Hi there kazmoo65 and welcome to the forum.

          No you're not alone.  I am aware of another member on the forum in the same/similar situation - not in Scotland but in England.  He used to contact live help and try to explain the situation and/or email them explaning his circumstances.  Sometimes they accepted the explanation and other times, they just would not.

          I can only suggest you try what this player used to do and speak to live chat if you can.  Some will understand and others just won't or cannot accept the position.

          Alternatively, here is a list of casinos that may not necessarily ask for your ID/documents on the first withdrawal - see HERE.

          I can only imagine how that can be a huge problem. One way around it would be like blueday suggested, hitting only no-id casinos, and contacting the live support to try to explain the situation. The other way being finding any other document that uses the picture (like driving licence?), and obtaining it, just for proving your identity.
          I really hope that you find a solution to this problem.
