When I play tournaments at a certain casino, it appears there is a cheater. They are consistently in the top ten players for every tournament. I asked customer service to look into it, but it appears the person might be using something that is not detectable. Makes the tournaments a lot less fun, always seeing this username at the top of the list. What more can be done if this person is beating the software somehow?
Seems to me that the odds are this simply cannot happen. It's been going on for a couple of months now, that I notice.

Are you talking about the battle of the slots tourneys at VS?
I've been lucky with a few of them even coming 1st in 4 of freeze outs but certain games no matter how many times I play them like lucky angler,, King of slots and wild turkey I can never get a score higher than 3 to 4 hundred -

I've been in Top 5 quite a few times but I've never won a tournament. I've noticed that there's is always someone with an incredibly high score. But I also have friends who have won tourneys. RTG ones, so it is possible that they are not rigged. It's tough to say, when I can't get a good score I get suspicious, when I'm winning I don't question anything.

I couldn't even imagine how someone could cheat at tournaments. But I play them almost never, just because there are usually people with super high scores and as others said, I can hardly win anything on them, besides, I always play free roll tournaments and I don't buy in for an extra time and chips.

So far I have won only ONE tournament which was for free but I managed to get high scores many times, I would say at least 6 times. And I was top 5 in the last big tournament at Drakecasino but I decided to try to win it, played very high risk and lost all. I don't think that they cheat but if you let 3000 people play, someone would get lucky, it is that obvious. I have just won a further BJ tournament again and for that reason I do not think that people are cheating there. But I know for sure that we do not get the same cards, some gets lucky, some gets less lucky but this does not bother me at all because from time to time it is obviously me who get pretty lucky besides from BJ of course but still there I can win just 1 of 10 tournaments.

I agree in that it's very difficult and highly unlikely that cheating happens in these tourneys but the few I play at its really hectic how some players are constantly ranked in the top 5 , I know someone who worked for a casino and she told me that the tourneys they would host that if it was a bit quite they would get a few support agents to play in them , in a way that's a method of cheating real players at the Casino
( I can't mention where this takes place as I'm sworn to secrecy ) -

I have seen this to at a certain casino. Rena knows which one I am talking about, and it makes you wonder what in the world. It's a shame if people are using something they can cheat with I mean what fun is that? I love the 'competition' of playing tournaments it's a break from playing in real and gives you a little incentive to get back into real without depositing, but when a certain someone or someones always at the top of the leaderboard, what fun is it?

Since this topic came up. I noticed that the same names keep popping up in the top 5. Now the odds on that is, you know the answer. Think about this. One of them plays in 2 or 3 tournament a day and it cost them 5 dollar a tournament. Depending on the amount of people determine the amount of the pot. So this one person is winning everyday for the last week and a half, and the amount about $2000 a day. Now tell me what are the odds on that? Either this person is cheating or he works for the casino.

I am thinking the whole time that the problem might be tight to the RTG casino where I never play. Of course you see the same names if more casinos share one tournament, f.e. Drakecasino and Gossipslots have joint tournaments only.
I don't know what you are talking about because I don't play tournaments at the RTG casinos and there where I play don't have this type of problems. Can we clear at least this point out? -

I stopped even venting about it my friend . Big waste of time IMHO. I enjoy the tournaments and never hope to win and if by some miracle i do, I have learned from experience i have a snow ball chance in , well ,you know , to hit anything . Double loss.

I have been watching tournaments on one RTG casino I play at frequently. I see the same two or three players winning or placing. What seems very odd to me is the margin they win at. It is most often double, sometimes more. than the players that finish just under the final payout positions.
I have played daily on the free rolls more so just to observe than any hope of winning. I never even come close to a paid position. I like Rena do not expect ever to win but am really wondering how one or two players are always on top and by such huge margins. I have tried addons and rebuys but the result is the same.
I also have observed the same couple of players entering new player tournaments and them being at the top in place. I am confused how they would be eligible to play as new players when they are obviously regular players??? This again is me being curious to see the placement and gap between chips won.
Just my observations regarding tournaments.

I think I really need to watch a few of these tournaments. The entire concept is a bit strange to me since it should be random, without any real human interaction/intimidation (like with poker). Feels odd having a tournament like this. Then again because I never saw such a thing I might just be completely oblivious to it

Maybe the person or persons have a system that works for them. I find it appalling that individuals complain about not placing in tournaments so they assume someone is cheating. If that was the case I would think that someone could also cheat on the regular machines so why just the tournaments?
