Here is the article from myfoxphilly.com, I was a bit surprised to read about something like that to be honest and especially to find out that this wasn't the first case!
Bensalem police have released information about a second recent case where children were left in a car while a relative gambled at the Parx casino.
Police say the newly reported incident happened on July 16 at 6:55 p.m., where a babysitter who was a relative left three children in a running car.
The woman, identified as Frances Casey of Abington, Pa., told police she ran into the Parx casino to redeem a promotional voucher for free pots and pans, and acknowledged playing two slot machine before returning to the car.
When Casey, 39, returned to the car, Bensalem Detectives and a patrol were there, along with 1 year old male and a 2 year old male secured in a car seat. In the front passenger seat was a 9 year old female who was crying.
Casey told police the children she was babysitting for her sister.
Casey is charged with Endangering the Welfare of Children. She will appear in court at a later date.
This weekend, 29-year-old Huntingdon Valley resident Michael Roytman was charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person in connection with the alleged incident Saturday at Parx Casino.
It was reported that a six year old child was left in a vehicle in that incident and was possibly suffering from heat exhaustion.
Roytman was video arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $75,000 or 10 percent bail.
Last year, authorities say there were at least a half dozen separate incidents of adults leaving children inside locked cars at the casino.
Would you leave your kids in the car while gambling? I hope you wouldn't...

It's amazing how many news stories we hear in Minnesota about people leaving
their kids in the car while they are in the casino.
And then there was the story about the dad (who didn't generally take the baby to daycare) who drove directly to work forgetting all about the baby tucked safely in the backseat, properly facing the rear. It wasn't until many hours later someone noticed the dead baby in the car. That distraught father was charged with manslaughter. :'(
The parents who leave the kids in the car to gamble are ticked and annoyed when caught. >:( -

That is beyond sick Johnny and what is sad is ya read stories bout this all the time.
I am surprised there is no stories about any of these children dying in the car. I hope to never hear it either :'(

Sadly, many have died from the heat in the car.
I had a garage sale and the temp was 98 with a very high humidity. I was sweating salt in my eyes so bad, they burned like heck. A lady came and browsed for at least 20 min. I noticed her baby (about 16 months) was in the car the whole time and it wasn't running. >:( When I noticed, I asked her to either get the child or leave. She left. -

This reminds me of something that happened a couple of years ago when a female co-worker brought her kid to the office and then forgot all about it when she drove home in the evening! Then she realized that something was missing when she got back home so she called the office to ask whether her kid was there or not! The kid was just fine though, we gave him a computer to play on

How bizarre. How can you "forget" your child. Incredible.

You'd be surprised at how many ppl forget.I drove a school bus for ten years and we were required to check our buses after each route but of course you get some who don't and the next thing ya know people are looking in a bus for a child that fell asleep.I also had it happen to me...quite a few times...when a child gets off school early and yes the parent was notified,no one would be at home.We we required to go back 3 times and if no one was still not there we had to take them to the local police or child protection office.I had little ones clinging to me and crying because at that point I was the only one they knew.It really upset me when I had to leave :'( and irritated that it seemed to bother me more than the parent or parents that did this sometimes more than once.
