  • Just curious as to how many players wager in a currency other than their own. For example, I know the USD is low at the moment so are players from Europe depositing in Dollars to make their bankroll stretch a bit further?

If you do get more for your money, how does it affect your wagering? Do you tend to bet higher or simply enjoy playing a little longer?

  • I only play in my own currency which is USD because I can't seem to ever do the conversion right! smiley

  • For me, I have no choice but to pick one, so I stick with USD, the most commonly accepted currency, unless that casino operates using only 1 currency, then I just follow suit (I have 1 account using GBP and 2 accounts using Euro).

I would love to use GBP all the time but at certain casinos it comes with some disadvantages. The higher conversion rate works both ways, good and bad, but I love it when I win in GBP...1.6x more than USD...and over 6x my local currency! That's makes a huge difference!  cheesy

Whether I play in USD, Euro or GBP, my gameplay and betting style remains the same! 20 cents is 20 pence, USD1 is GBP1. I dont think about the conversion factor...I only concentrate on the winning factor!  laugh_out_loud

  • The conversion from USD to GBP would make a huge difference when you consider that you receive only around 65 cents on your dollar when converted to GBP.

I know when i went to a bingo hall in the UK i won £600 playing slots and when i converted that at the airport i came home with over $1,000 bucks.

  • I always play in dollars where I can.  It stretches the bankroll and makes my money last longer.  I don't up the stakes at all because it is dollars - that would defeat the object for me.  I like to get playtime with my money.

  • I've deposited in dollars rather than GBP and I've placed higher bets. If I hit something decent I cashed out  but most of the time I just like to enjoy playing a little longer ans stretching my money a bit further.
