    Do you use bankroll management?

    How do you work out what games you're rolled for or do you just jump into whatever you fancy regardless of level?

    How would you advise a new player to manage their bankroll to ride the roller coaster that is variance?

    I usually only play free chips so I go for broke.  And that's usually where I end up!

    I dont have a ton of time to explain the way I go about playing at the moment, but I will write a novel on beating Rival's in new thread in a couple days.

    However, I stick to these general spin levels depending on my starting bankroll balance at each individual slot.

    $50 or less.. .75 per spin

    $100...$1.50 per spin

    $200.. $3.75 per spin

    $500+.. $7.50 per spin

    As I said, I will do a full write up at a later date.. but follow those levels and you will generally give yourself the best shot at clearing playthrough and hitting your max cashout.

    Bankroll management---very important if you are using your own money.

    No so much if you are using free chips.

    What I started to do (and I'm glad I'm at this point) is only play when I've won money from a tournament or free chips--and even then limit my play.

    example: I may deposit--say $2.00 to $5.00 or so above the minimum cashout balance and play a fixed number of spins.  After that I immediately cashout, win or lose.

    Hi all,

    I am not happy about rival, but that's not the topic, i pretty much keep myself at aabout the same schedule as Jocan, but if it is going bad, and at Rival i feel it always goes "not good", Then for two or three spins i bet the double amount as i do normally, and then go back and then, i guarentee ya, rival spits coins, but i always end where i started 0000000000 hahaha.
    Although i must say i play way less carefull with free chips as with my own money . shocked  shocked  grin grin grin grin
