Do you play Casino Tournaments?

I thought it would be interesting to hear how many of you play casino tournaments and where?

How much do you usually spend and did you have any significant wins?

I used to play Microgaming tourneys while back. Tomb Raider was my favorite.

I play RTG freerolls almost daily, also Club World's penny rollers every day, I even won random jackpot on Enchanted Garden few days ago, which was my first RTG random jackpot scored . My favourite tournament game there is Triple twister video slot.

From time to time I also play MG's freeroll on Avalon slot at 32 Red. I used to also compete for prize in now closed bet24 casino, they had some interesting monthly tournaments on new NetEnt releases there.

RTG slots are my favorite, so I love to play Tournaments at RTG casinos like Club World casino etc. My favorite RTG games are "Enchanted Garden", "Crystal Waters" and "T-Rex", but I had no luck to win something for a long, long time.

Also I love to play MicroGaming freerolls, and I was lucky to win something in a game named " Loaded "  several months ago, but my favorite game on MG is Thunderstruck II .

I still play tourneys but I miss playing at MG ones!!

I play RTG tournaments because they are pretty cut and dried... you get your money, you take your spins, and everyone else does the same. I have tried Vegas Tech and don't like the constant rebuys available. To win you just have to be willing to keep putting your money in. Almost all tourneys I play are Freerolls or Pennyrollers.

I only play freeroll torns at libertyslots I don't find playing RTG free rolls worth it as the prize is too low to mess with and often it isn't even free but costs 1penny which means you would have to make a non-bonus deposit as you can't play tournaments if you have playthrough pending on a bonus.  I consider it false advertising to call a tournament free if it requires any fee to play and that fact that you can't even play a free roll if you have pending playthrough on your deposit is also unfair, IMO

I play RTG free tournaments and I used to play Microgaming free tourneys but there is little point in playing those unless you have the cash to do the continue plays.

I played in a "one shot" tourney at Microgaming recently with a $2 buy in and came second for $40.  I would certainly play in one of these again.

I agree with blue regarding MG tournaments. I have scored a big win in first few spins many times on their freerolls and than spent whole tournament time waiting for maschine to count the win (and it is intentionaly counting unbelievably slow). Than i can choose to pay to continue which somehow leaves the feeling that you are not actualy playing freeroll tournament for free.

So generaly i do prefer RTG ones, yes, prize pools are miniscule compared to others but there are no hidden tricks to make you deposit, just a tournament that is free to enter and nothing else. I do deposit at casinos where i play tournaments, but i do not want to spend my deposits on rebying time for freerolls

I used to get in on RTG tournaments more often but I tend to avoid tournaments in general these days. There's no particular reason but I think you've reminded me of what I'm missing. 

Awesome poll 2fast! With such limitations coming from the US i play basically RTG free rolls. A few times i have played in the buy-in tourneys but not that often. Rushmore has an awesome free roll but these days i think it is tough to get paid. 

I used to play casino tournaments a lot but I've never had any significant wins and I used to like that competitive feeling that I had. Today, I play them occasionally, the most often RTG slots.

Hi , i only played at Microgaming Casinos Free rolls, Crazy Vegas and Golden riviera.

I only won twice at golden riviera. First was a 10000k free fee tournament , of course with unlimited rebuys, but i finished 32, so i got 50 Euros real cash!

Later, a days ago i played the Avalon 10.000k Cup Tournament, was a 9000 or more players 9 days tourament, when i first played it i finished with 70850 coins, 16 position, i was WOW, but of course, cuz of the rebuys i finished 41 at the end of the tournament, i won 50 euros again! real cash...

Ive played them all lol, and lost them, i was able to withdrawl them if i wanted to, but since this is gambling i wanted more, and well ... i lost the 100 i got from golden riviera.

But are excellent tournaments of course u need to have a lot of luck, since i only played them once, without rebuying anything.

I dont know about RTG casinos free rolls i will try them out, im now playing to at 3Dice Casino free rolls, they pay only 20 dollars to the winner, which is very hard, so i guess i will stop trying there.... Tell me about other free rolls free fees casinos so i will try them... for now i only use Crazy Vegas and Golden riviera.

So sad, i was 1st at 3dice tournament and my connection went down, and now left 2 hours and im 4th it pays only to the best 3... is like a joke. And i have 8000 credits i need to get 20900 to be able to make my peak go high again to beat the 3rd position, this casinos pays at peaks, i have 20800 the 3rd has 24000 ... so sad but anyways, they only pay 5 bux and 10 to the first, and u need to do a walkthrough of 100 bux or 50 , if u win 10 or 5 to cashout... isnt that hard but whatever... im a bit sad about it because i was in a winning peak and i lost the internet connection for 4 hours:(

I  rarely play casino tournaments they were very interesting to play .And recently i had started playing daily but till now i didn't win any game.But i am having lot of enjoyment and entertainment while playing these games ......

Yeah I find it hard to win these tourneys as well. But its still good fun so i can allow myself to spend few bucks here and there.

They are not hard... ive won 2 MG 10k tourneys, 100 euros, one Liberty Slots 5 bux free roll, and thats all:P but is ok for free rolls, is free real cash money u win without depositing and u can even withdrawl or play without any playthrough and if u win 50 at a tourney like i did and u get those 50 for example to 5000 u can withdrawl them all no problem at all. So i guess isnt bad, free rolls are great. When u deposit u probably lost because of the matches and playthroughs of your own money, most of times u lose. Free rolls u dont pay a cent and u have a chance to win for free.

Thats why only MG and some other 4 or 5 casinos offers free rolls, because isnt a good deal for casinos, they give away free money to ppl. I hope they still do it. Lol.

With current prize pools on RTG freerolls, its ok for casinos to keep them running since most money you can win there is $12,5 if you are first, and with minimum withdrawal of $20 in mind you cannot cash out your win.

But thrill of being first among 500+ players and winning something for free in the process is feeling good enough to keep me playing those tournaments.

NetEnt tournaments are also really cool because although you need to pay for them, you keep what you win during your gameplay on top of the prizes.

RTG are bad, sad is for us players, but most of them are all bad casinos. doesnt matter the free rolls. Just a few are safe.

Well, Im no US resident, still love to play RTG at Club World, Jackpot Capital, Casino Titan, Desert Nights and few others. Yes, there is plenty among them that arent good, but its the owners of those casinos and their buisiness practice to blame, not the whole software.

If you stick to the rules in ones I mentioned, you should be just fine

yes the casinos u named are good, the rest arent, ive tried all, they didnt pay me at any of the others, not even 1 only bonus i met at each of them, they even block me out. Jackpot Capital is good, Slotastic too. Desert nights is good too but i dont know what happens with RTG installers right now with my PC they crashes, and i need to download using smartdownload links, but desert nights doesnt have one, so i cant play there, the flash version doesnt works fine at all. So im out of that one, all the rest i have them installed, some for nothing, i really need to uninstall a lot of RTG casinos that are scammers.

I've played in several casino tournaments, but it`s less exciting than poker tournaments.

i tend to agree Alex. I also prefer poker to casino tournaments . More action involved and takes a lot of skill and not just luck

I cant belive it! i was playing daily free roll of 200 pool prize at Casino La Vida MG, i had 1 min left, had 18000 coins, first had 197000 coins, and reached a jackpot!!!! i won 210.000 coins! im first and only 11 hours left to finish, first gets 100 real cash euros and second 40 real cash, im going to win either 100 or 40! im so happy this is the third time i won at MG free rolls if i win 100 euros will be my first big win, i won 50 euros at ther other tournaments and never placed 1st. yes i will, i chatted, send docs, and what the guy told me? at very MG casinos ive played free rolls, u dont need to deposit anything to cashout a free roll winnings, Red Flush and Casino La Vida are same group, ive deposited at Red flush , won the free roll at Casino La vida, and he told me i need to deposit to cashout the free roll winnings!!!! where in terms and conditions of the casino doesnt says that ANYWHERE, not even at tournament free roll section, he said to me, it doesnt says at TC but u accept it as being a player.... wtf is that? Ive won at golden riviera 2 free rolls and they didnt ask me to deposit anything to cashout, so i told him if i win, i will want to talk to a manager and i will want an audit from MG saying i have to deposit to cashout a free roll win. MG never asks u to deposit to cashout any winnings from free rolls, thats why they are free. And for the worse ive deposited at the group 50. There u have the MG terms and conditions for free rolls, are all the same for all MG casinos, as stated at microgaming site.

This is funny, my account i had it in EUROS, and i finished 3rd. Won 25. And what happened? i was credited with 20.43.

They said to me its because the prizes are in dollars and is about the conversion from dollars to euros. So that doesnt says anywhere in terms, so ppl that has dollars at account received the 25.

And i lost 5 credits out of nothing.

And the chat guy didnt want to tell me anything about that, i asked where it says at terms the prizes are in dollars and he said : is anything else i can help you out?

This group sucks bad, they dont allow me to cashout either! Even if i deposited at the group 50. They stolen me 5 credits and they dont allow me to cashout anything if i win.

Stay with vegas partner group where whatever is your currency they pay you euros, dollars , yens, or whatever the currency the right prize.

Keep in mind this is Red Flush and Casino La Vida group. So u know for this later, choose dollars not euros or other currency so if u win you can get what u deserve. But they wont allow you to cashout, so....

no, the min withdrawal is 100 , u need to reach 100 before making a withdrawal from those 25 and i couldnt... sadly, and they asked me to deposit 50 to do it too. This doesnt happens in Vegas partner lounge or Palace group where u can withdrawl any time any winnings no deposit needed, and in your currency.

My question is still, if minimum withdrawal is $100, and you are not restricted by playthrough, what could stop you from depositing $75 on top of your reward and than making a withdrawal of $100?

because they said i had to meet the 100 first before requesting a withdrawal of this winnings tournament, and making a deposit of 50 later to cashout. I couldnt make 100 from 25, so i lost all, and i wont deposit to them 50 usd even if i meet the waggering of 100 because thats not what MG states at tounrament winnings... like i said other groups allows you to cashout your real winnings any time without depositing and without playthorugh at all, u can even cashout 10 bux. Euros, dollars anything, and the prizes are in your selected currency...

And for the worse i deposited to them 50 dollars already, and they didnt allow me to cashout either... so Red Flush and Casino La Vida to me are gone casinos. At their terms and conditiones this doesnt appears anywhere, making a playthrough of 100 to cashout and making a deposit too to cashout, even if u already made a deposit before... so they just scammed me my winnings, placing 3rd at a 200 prize pool free roll isnt easy at all, first had 530.000 coins, second had 310.000 and i finished 3rd with 210.000 hitting a jackpot, a 16 hours free roll with unlimited rebuys.. so is that fair to you? to me it isnt... they also treat your really bad at chat, they paste things all the time and they dont talk like a real person at all, worse group ever to me by MG casinos.
