I've been told that stopping the reels just makes them stop where they would have stopped on their own.  That the instant you pull the lever or push the button the outcome is determined and nothing you do will change that.  If that's true , why is there a stop button?  On some machines you can stop the individual reels by touching the screen,  Is this all to make you feel like you have some control over the outcome even though you don't ?  Just wondering if anyone knows the "Facts"  about this ?

Don't be childish, of course it doensn't. It is just an illusion of some kind of control, and people like to control things

I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure it does not change anything at all. Plus, stopping the reels prevents you from enjoying those adrenaline loaded moments that spice up the game

I've thought about this many times too and as far as I know it doens't change the outcome, but if someone knows more, I'd be really interested in hearing it, because I have heard that there are players who always use stop button.

I always roll my eyes when people keep telling me to hit the stop button I mean let's just say you hit 5 of a kind after hitting the stop button. How possible is it that the same 5 symbols stop at the winning reels?!  Or if that strategy really  did work. Shouldn't we all become so rich right now?

For me I hit the stop button because of 2 different reasons.

        1. Because I am in a hurry.
        2. I love surprises. It feels nice for example if the scatters drop at the same time and give you the feature round. It's like BOOM!
