downloading casinos-and what changes they make to your computer!

i recently got a new computer which came with a trial for Norton security.
when i tried to download my favorite casinos i would get the message-
"SEVERE threat detected "- action aborted and it wouldn't let me download.

  i had to turn off my security center before i could down load.

afterwards i checked the security log and it said:
    - casino app added adware to your computer-
    - casino app made 15 changes to your firewall-
    -casino app made 13changes to your opperating system-
    -casino app changed rules for firewall-

severity of these changes--minimal

just thought you might like to no.

I use Sunbelt personal firewall and AVG together and this allows me to download and update casinos but I give permission each time it wants to do something.  It is a bit of a pain in the "derrier" but it is worth it.  I will not use Norton security - I had nothing but trouble with it.  Here is the link to the sunbelt firewall if you want it - at least with this you are protected.

I get Mcafee free because I have my internet thru Comcast.  I found it to be more trouble than its worth.  About a year ago I found this program, and believe me I have tried many many free programs.  This one has been the best.  It has won many awards.  The FREE version has many amenities.  It is thorough and fast.  It remains free for length of "personal" use.  I plan to upgrade to full version soon which is like 20 bucks I like it so much...a real bargain. They also have a FREE "game booster" but can not use it because you need windows xp and i have a dinosaur of a computer with Windows 2000. I also only have 4GB of hard drive...hahaha so i have to be cleaning and cleaning and cleaning....gesh!!

I also use there "Smart Defrag" program.  Also faster than regular defrag.  Hope im not breaking rules here.  Here is weblink:

I use antivir, it's free to download.  The only trouble I had with it is for downloading 3dices casino.  Other than that, it works great

Oh forgot to mention....I uninstalled McAfee and use the program on IOBIT exclusively - Advance System Care.  No problems.
