  • Got an email today from <Sureka@vegaspartnerlounge.com> which supposily had lost my documents since I had an outstanstanding balance of $50 they wanted to pay me badly!

    Here is the email:

I can see that you have an outstanding winning of $50.00. I have requested documents from you on the 23rd July 2012. I really want to pay you your winning, so please send in your documents J
All I need from you is for you to send me verifying documents, so that I can pay you your money that you have won at our casino.
The  documents you need to send in like a utility bill or the like with your current address on.
I will also need, either your passport, driving license or medical card where your civil registration number and image.
Your first and last name must also appear on the documents.

    You need the following:
    1. Date of birth
    2. Current home address
    3. Social Security No.
    4. Front and back of your credit card (REMEMBER to cross the middle eight numbers out!)
    5. Your photo
I need to receive these documents within 30 days, or your account will be de-activated for security reasons.
That does not mean that it is closed, but just that you need to send verifying documents into J

I wrote back to them telling that I sent it already, they replied:

    Hi Michael.

I know you have sent them, however it seems they have been lost somewhere along the way.

Please would you send them again?

    Thank you.

    Sincerely

    Sureka

I replied back and asked which casino it was, no response at all AND I know for a fact that I have NO $50 drifting around out there....

    Or what do U think????
I mean it would be nice to know which casino it was or???....am I being paranoid?

    Michael

  • Go to one of the vegaspartnerlounge casinos and ask them to verify Sureka@vegaspartnerlounge.com

    Johan

  • it is definately a scam

  • was told to send them to banking@vegaspartnerlounge.com

They all make me so tired!

  • The email looks legit enough but seems unusual they would hound you to pay you. That would be a first. Check your balance at where you have accounts for Vegas Parnter Lounge casinos and stay cautious buddy until you get more details.

  • Yeah, liquorman, THEY would NEVER hunt You down to make a payout!
I am just not happy or satiesfied with the service at Vegas Partner Lounge so......

....and lately since I book alot of hotelnights and usually from booking.com which are great but lately I have gotten ALOT of "Confirmations of Bookings from there, last one today, after the first one I received, I emailed them and they told me that it was sent from them but was not real so what a f**k I mean!.... just tired that You have to watch everything!

  • The signs are in the email.  Poor English plus you would certainly know if you had some cash floating around in a casino.  It's a scam for sure.

The other messages saying some ridiculous amount of cash is waiting to be claimed etc etc...it's not just your info they are after, it's your money.  The "drawing up of legal documents" is the main part of the scam and this costs money which you are supposed to pay!

  • If you are not sure Micke wheather you have $50 in winnings, its easy to check out the mail adress with Vegas Partner Lounge, but if you are sure you dont have winnings there than its not worth wasting time and checking cheesy

Mail looks very suspicious, like: "I really want to pay you your winning" and also as blue said, poor english in few sentances. I dont expect any kind of casino representative to speak like that.

  • Go to one of the vegaspartnerlounge casinos and ask them to verify Sureka@vegaspartnerlounge.com

    Johan

I think that's the safest way to go. Great suggestion. You can't necessarily base the email's validity on poor English. I have spoken to many a support representative that have poor English when it's not their first language. Anyway, confirming with the casino directly is the best option and why do they need your SSN? That's what I don't like.
  • I agree with you there froggy there are many reps that do not speak proper English due to location and dealing with players on a world wide level. But i surely give them credit for knowing a second language at all and more than what i can do  worn_out. So it is very tough to know who is the trickster here. Especially scammers who utilize emails that include the company like this one has. I don't know how they get away with that. I have received emails that came from my OWN email address and sent to and from me.........go figure!

  • nobody should ever get your social security number, especially if they ask for it

  • First off, I don´t even have a SS# like in USA, ofcourse we do have something different, but anyway......I sent an email telling her that I have resent all of the necessary documents again to vegaspartnerlounge and I haven´t heard from her ever since! SHOCKING!
I don´t even know which casino they are talking about so.....just kind of weired!

  • Yeah, liquorman, THEY would NEVER hunt You down to make a payout!

You got that right. Keep one hand on the wheel at all times buddy is what i say.
  • you will never hear from them again (hopefully). i wish all spammers and hackers would get spammed and hacked (would serve them right tongue
