So it would seem as one of the first online casinos in New Jersey is officially closing up shop.
According to an article I was reading, Ultimate Gaming is claiming that the Trump Taj Mahal has failed on several contractual agreements and owes them $1.5 million in payment.
This really to me doesn't come as a surprise mainly because the casino itself is going belly up. So I'm sure there just one more place that is getting screwed over by the casino.
The article is here
I can see other casinos in the state of NJ becoming victims to situations such as this because the state of NJ hasn't come to any agreements with any other states to help bring in additional revenue to these casinos. So therefore you still have to travel to NJ just to play.
Also there are just too many casinos out there period to compete with the state of NJ period. I mean in Iowa alone we have 19 casinos. With that kind of saturation who wants to travel to NJ just to blow there money or win big. When they can do the same thing closer to home.
