Gladiator coliseum bonus less than 5% 3row wins - normal?

First timeI played gladiator I 2 times had big wins in the coliseum(scatter)-freespin rounds due to picking 1*3 and 1*4 row extra scatter symbols. Since then I have played gladiator for many times and many days and I would estimate I have received the bonus 30-40 times and only one time did I go to the 3rd row (where it also ended and with 8 spins total). Is that a normal outcome for this game you always get the collect at the second row?

And every time they display only 1 of the 5 is collect but surely that is just fake show? How does it work in reality , anyone know if the 5 picks on each line the likelihood is say 3,4,5,6 7 to go to the next row% on the 5 picks and depending on how many spins u have higher chance to get extra pick if u have few spins?

Ive gotten to the 3rd row a few times, but uselly always ends on the 2nd row, but the max freespins u can get is 12 is automatic goes to 2nd row then no idea about multiplier max.

I never came past the 2nd row too.
But I don't play Playtech slots much I have to say, I always feel robbed after a Playtech session.
Guess around 25-30 deposits, never even close to a cashout.

I deposit 300 and got220% bonus(660) = totalof 960
The bonus has a 8*660 playthrough
so for every 660 I bet I would loose 7% which is 46
meaning I would statistically loose 8*46 =368 while playing this bonus
leaving me with a balance of 592 and aprofit of 292

at the rate its going right now Id say I loose around 20% which if continnues would mean I would have lost aeverything before clearing the bonus,thus playing what I thought low variance bets(smallest bet max lines)
any thoughts on this?

The maths are OK, but they usually do not work when playing slots because of the high variance nature of slots.
Playing 20.000 hands of blackjack should give you a returnpercentage close to 99%, a little more if you're lucky, a little less if you're unlucky.
Thats why most casinos do not allow blackjack when playing a bonus.
But 20.000 spins on Playtech high varianceslots can easily give you a return far less than the advertised RTP if you're not lucky enough to hit a really big one.
