  •           Okay, first of all let me tell you I'm not paranoid but I'm not stupid either.  I think I'm pretty perceptive and I  want to know if anyone else notices this.  I  have noticed (on certain sites and certain slot games)  if you have 2/3 of the scatter for instance and are waiting for the 3rd (for a bonus round usu.) the timing  sometimes seems "different"  To me anyways,  it seems like you can subconsciously time it in your mind the point where it stops and starts or where your mind thinks it should be.  I know I'm dealing with short time intervals but this is also how the mind processes music and anticipates which notes it feels should come next.  Forgive me if I seem like I'm rambling,  but I swear I saw it again today during a tournament. (Thankfully it was a freeroll).    But it seemed like the reel was about to stop and then it appeared to "stutter"  and roll much farther than expected thus not landing on the scatter which would have resulted in a bonus round.  I have noticed this "stutter"  more in the last several months.    Maybe I am going crazy... somebody please back me up on this!

  • No Bongo,  You are 100% right.  Also they like to show the scatter as the next symbol on the last reel when you spin again. I would assume to make you think you almost had it.  But they are certified Random number generators, RIGHT wink

  • i have seen that EXACT thing....the easiest game to see it is HAPPY GOLDEN OX OF YOU JUST LOST YOUR ASS

  • Good way to describe it dabigdog! laugh_out_loud

But, bongo I too have seen, felt, perceived, whatever you want to call it, this same thing happening many times. Matter of fact I was playing on a free chip yesterday and just quit and shut it down because it kept happening and whereas I had been doing ok with the playthrough, suddenly I was losing it no matter what I did.

Very unsettling when it does that. But, of course, as leavefall says, it is a certified RNG is it not? surprise

  • Random smandom. I knew a guy that serviced slot machines for a slot company(in vegas) He told me that while random they are set to certain payouts and I suspect online casinos and RNG is the same. Therefore, it is never totally random in my opinion. If it were totally random then you could have the same chance of winning day after day no matter if you had won the previous day playing any given slot. But, that is not my observation. It seems that after a big win on a slot your chance of winning anything substantial again is highly diminished in the short term.  Coincidence? We will never know as there is no real way for us to determine if it is truely random and have no idea what thr payout is set at on any given game.

  • not surprising  8'| ive noticed too but thought it was just me sad

  • you make some very interesting observations and i actually agree with you all, i dont think they are random either, like they say they are, and just because they say they are "tested" i truly believe it means nothing, because time after time after time i get a nice win, it just takes it back instantly, the main culprit is microgaming slots i thing are the most un random to be honest, they are soo predictable, the chances of us winning all the time on microgaming every deposit is basically imposible, my current deposit count in 32red without withdrawing now is 11 deposits, all of them have been bad, i also was given a few match bonuses and some free chips in between them too, and all those was bad too, so if u count those free chips included it would have been 14 deposits and it is bad for me, but yes, random is a total understatement, i truly do believe they are not as random as they say, i do think the casinos or tech people have some way or form of changing a players payout % on there account, and yes i am paranoid lmao,

  • Omg i too know exactly what you mean bongo! The machine does sputter, stutter and practically cough up a lung when it gets to the last reel. But i have seen this happen on many software including the slots in Vegas.

For example WMS slots are notorious for this and will have a slight hesitation and jump as the first reel is about to stop. It is a sure thing a player is going to get a bonus round on that spin.

I am not sure if some of these software build this in for momentum or what but to be honest i don't think it is the reels hiccuping so you can't win and will deliberately force a losing spin because they are all predetermined the second you hit the Play button.

    Lips.

  • Yep.. I have noticed it too.  Good descriptions by everyone.

It's funny too that major jackpots are supposed to be random yet I have hit it many times while playing tournaments but never even a minor while spinning my .50 bets.

  •           Thanks guys, I'm glad you guys got my back on this 'cause I know what I saw and Lips, those are good descriptions of what the games look like they're doing.  I was worried when a few hours went by and nobody responded I was thinking S*** they're thinking I'm nuts.  Glad to hear I'm not alone.

  • It's a good thing bongo that you mentioned this, I noticed that a few times too, but I didn't know how to explain it. Thanks. smiley And I also feel much better now that I know that I wasn't imagining things.

  • I have a question for everyone,  why are payouts for the same symbols on different pay lines different? It is never listed in the payouts section that certain pay lines will pay more with the same symbols.  Does anyone else notice this?  I see it across most of the software platforms.

  • im not sure what slot you are talking about but sometimes on multi line slots it seems like you win more if certain pay lines hit and it is because you are winning on the paylines that you notice and also on some that you probably didnt notice where you may only have 2 or 3 of the symbols
