  • Ok, I'm new and don't wish to step on any toes of casino's & the like here, so I'll be considerate as I'm not sure what the policy is when it comes to airing grievences about casino behavior here.  Bear with me as I need to bounce this off of other folks and I also want to be fair to the casino involved. Please let me know if I'm out of line.

This particular casino I had just established myself with, got my docs in, had them approved, even made 2 $1000 withdrawls already, so I'm thinking all is well.  And it likely still is. I had my withdrawl in 48 hrs, wait time and payment to mywallet included. Fast fast fast, so I'm happy with this deal.  Anyway this is what happens: I've gotten my first 2k from them, Make anothe deposit & I play some more & rack up another 2k in withdrawls. So feeling good.  Then I'm in the waiting period & I think ah what the heck I'll re-deposit 1000, which I do. However I have a bonus I have requested that will bonus me up to 400 which I have forgotten about. So I make the redeposit and there system kicks me the bonus, so now I have 1400 (the bonus was a 100% up to 400). A little bummed as my play through just increased.  The play through for the Deposit + Bonus for this bonus is 22x.  So my math is as such 1000 + 400 = 1400 x 22= $30,800 for my play through.  I figure what the heck lets shoot for the moon. Which happens!  I play a new game (physadelic Sixties, which by the way rocks if you get the machine when it's on a roll)

So what ensues is an amazing run. I spend the next 5+ hours walking that money up to $9000 (I was playing $20 per pull). So Up it goes and then it starts to fall. I figure no worries I'm way ahead, & when it gets to 5K I'm done. It get's to 5k and I figure I must have easily made my play through (which when I contacted the casino to check I was within 2K of the 30,8000 play through) however they (and this is where it gets a bit shistery on the casino's part) They informed me that I had a 66x play through.

Here's the f'd up logic....or at least the best I can make of it. They claim that because I over deposited against the bonus that the original amount of play through was now somehow 66x. I say somehow because no matter how I tryed to explain there crazy BS change in the rules they kept claiming the math was the same. Can someone help me make sence of this.  Really truely I see no mathimatical equation here that makes sence. (Pure & simple I felt screwed.). Maybe I'm missing something here.  Anyway I do intend to play there again, however I aint taking any bonus money from them. I don't mind the play through idea and all, in general, & I realize gotta have big winnings, but when they change the rules after winning that blows. As well this casino and a sister casino with the same software changed my betting limits after winning with them. I hate that too.  So at the end of the day nada in this casino after that run anyways.  (couldn't hold out for the additional $66,000 they taked on.)

Ok enough about the loosing stories, got those outta the way. It's way more fun to give ya the big wins.  But I had to air that and it was really eating at me.

So how appropriate is it on this board to give casino names etc, for the good and the bad experiences? (well good ones I figure it's ok)

    Ben

  • Name those casinos!! Be truthful though, no wild claims or "Well, it's their fault" (when it very well might be yours..Never with me..yah, right)

Look over some of the past postings, they name casino and time and a lot more, like the helpful Cs workers..Some who are on a first name basis with (Jerk, puke, *itch and so on) never fear about inappropriate postings..If you do, be sure the mods will swoop in and "modify" your post (That is quite helpful. Thanks Mods) and we'll all lead happy, profitable lives...(Well, 42% of us might....)

  • DaVinci's Gold was the casino.  They were super fast to pay my first 2k I withdrew, (and I took out another 1K from the 2k that I used for my redeposit.) However the whole deal with switching the 22x was definitly there deal.  The thing that didn't make any sence to me was when they kept telling me that 66x was the same as 22x..... I told them there doing some kinda funky math.  They also immidiately cut my betting ability on the game I was winning on in half.    The other casino,  Was Superior Casino.  I have gotten about 6K out of them. They twice droped my limit first from.25 then.10 then .5  I was playing cleopatras coins on there. I was told that the casino reserves the right to do this for any reason without having to give cause.

I also had a tiff with one of the CS folks there, but that one was my fault, I failed to read that a 500% bonus I took could only be cashed out for 3x the bonus value...(which I did, but unfortunately missed out on another 5000 I was up). That one was definitly my bad.  But I went back in without taking bonuses. I was miffed and thats when I won the 6k.

Anyway, I dont want to make big stinks about these guys. Definitly I've made my own set of mistakes, but I really dont see any logic in there dealing with my "over deposit for a bonus" not to mention they gave me a bonus on a redeposit....which I guess could be good, but not this go round.

At any rate both casinos have been diligent with payments and dare I say even very fast (Davinchi's is like less than 48hrs if requested so long as a weekend isn't in the middle of it.), I think over all the lesson is to be careful with the bonuses you take, ie pay attention and if there's a bonus that is very odd, maybe before playing make sure they credit it away & that all things are clear.  I'm begining to play often without any bonuses.  I tend to double or triple my money relitively often, but find I'm stuck in playthrough hell.

  • Benito,
my take on this is that this board is for Us, the players. The feedback we recieve about casinos, good and bad is what fuels LCB into being such a great place, so Yes If you have something great to say about a casino, toss it out there with the name of the casino. Others can see and post their own experience giving us a fuller picture.

if you have something to warn about or complain about then Yes do post that as well and for the same reasons. These kinds of postings, when confirmed from multable members experiences result in the "warning" icon place on the Casino postings.

Also we have many casino reps that are members here, and in some cases the casino rep's themselves have stepped in to either clarify their positions, look into individual circumstances and correct it, or verify in no uncertain terms that they Are shady...

To me, that feedback is one of the things that Makes LCB "THE Place" to be for current casino happenings.

  • Benito,

    (Snipped for brevity)

Also we have many casino reps that are members here, and in some cases the casino rep's themselves have stepped in to either clarify their positions, look into individual circumstances and correct it, or verify in no uncertain terms that they Are shady...

Not to belabor a point, but casino reps actually admit "They're shady?"

That's like a politician admitting they don't care about the voters!! (We know that to be true only about the ones that didn't vote for them..But you get my point)
  • not so much as admit that they are Shady, but in there response Showing everyone they are Shady Benito...

Kind of like those same politicians.

  • Hi Benito,

I understand your plight and sometimes i feel we have to be rocket scientist to figure out the terms and conditions on some of these casinos! They are tricky devils and we have to stay on top of our game!

Thanks for sharing your experience...this is a open forum...where real people share real experiences. It's why LCB's credibility has a good reputation...players like you than enlighten the rest of us.

Great Post...i can see your going to be a wonderful asset to the forum!

    Lips

  • Thanks Lips, Jim & Gene. Thanks for the warm welcome too.  Shady is there middle name I suppose.  But hey most of the time they pay up...at least so far. Knock on wood. Even there billing is a tad shady..."a music store, an office supplie store, a merchant, & my favorite, a pet store" these are the names they give the credit card companies when billing.  Not just some, but from what I can tell all of them do this. I've had to make several of those calls to my credit card company to verify "recent activity"  They must think I have like 24 dogs or something.

Oh well, I suppose thats the price we pay for this.  Ya know do the folks here on LCB, who reside in the UK or Canada have as much trouble with the casinos with this sort of stuff or are the casinos more on the up & up else where because there more regulated under law outside of the US?  Maybe that would be a good question to pose in another thread. hmm...just thinking out loud...well not really but you get my point I hope.

Just got a second installment payment from Online Vegas, so I'm off to the rodeo, aka going get some money from Davinci's, this time without the @#%* bonus money.

    B

  • Hey benito,  I have learned to play with out the bonuses.  It seems to me they are more trouble than they are worth hun.  Good luck and ALWAYS feel free to share your experiences good or bad hun.

    Thanks for the info!!!!

  • Benito,

In my opinion no matter what you deposited the playthrough should have remained the same.  It does sound like you are being screwed royally.  It makes no sense to me that gobbledygook they spouted about how it is now a 66x playthrough.  Well if we want to go by their logic that you overdeposited well... you would have had to have deposited $1200 to have a 66k playthrough... and with my math... (and it is probably wrong...) At best to screw you they would have to say a 55x playthough!($400 = 22x, $400 = 22x, $200 = 11x) laugh_out_loud

I would get a copy of the terms and conditions of that EXACT bonus and read them carefully.  God forbid that a 66x penalty for overdepositing is in there!  Who gives a penalty for overdepositing?  That's just bizarre...

    Good luck!!
