Hitting the local bar

So after losing about $150 (This past week) to the onlines, I figured I meeded a break from them. So I headed over to the bars just across the Columbia river and into Jantzen Beach.

I remember one worker who got fired then re-hired and so I saw he was working today. This guy has played all the machines and can easily tell you if they're hot of not. He encouraged me to try a new one they got. While discussing it, I started playing.

Soon, I hit the bonus and didn't do badly at all. I ended up cashing a $125.00 ticket for $20.00 So, I continued, loading one and taking a ticket anytime over $100.00

Recycling the cash I left the bar with only $170 more then what I had when I went in (And the worker got about $45 in tips, I always share a bit of the cream with the workers, they only make min wage) and so tomorrow I'll buy that blower motor for the a/c I may even talk to a mech about the vaccumm line.

Not a bad day and killed about 5 hours too. I think I may just go back to this as it was quick in with the money, but quick out in the payoff also.

Lucky you don't have far to go to do that!  Nice wins, too.  I have to go all the way to the border of Mexico to find the nearest casino!  Maybe someday I'll get to go again.

in new zealand every bar/nightclub has slot machines.....instead of having a dance with my friends they're looking around for me....at there i am with a bottle in hand and having a great time playing on machines.

Lips,they have them in Wi. but you win by points...$5=100 points so to win $300 you'd have to get 3000 points and they are in most bars and some restaurants.They are supposed to be against the law but they have signs on them stating that they do NOT pay out cash....lol...yea right!!

must be like the 8-liners in the bingo halls, and the trivia games at places like TGIF.

there's a game called Golden Tee that sends your score to the server and you win money based on your scores.  They also have an invitational for top players that is held in Las Vegas.  I know one man who left his wife alone having their baby so he could go to Vegas and play in the golden tee tourney!

Well folks, these machines are legally in Oregon. The limit per bar is 6 machines. Several bars have opened (Deli/snack shop) simply for the cash they generate for the owners. Yes, they get a nice cut.

In fact, the state at one time tried to reduce the bar owners take (More for them) but that went nowhere quick. Many owners threatend to rip out the machines then. Too many spoke up and the state backed off.

Oh and no, it wasn't enough for the laptop. But it did help buy some parts for the car to help it last longer
