I thought that New Jersey would be our saving grace and the start of something good for the rest of us............
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie vetoed a bill that would have made his state the first in the U.S. to re-introduce online gambling. But he also suggested the state Legislature could revive the effort by asking voters to approve the measure by referendum.
What i don't get is why would he veto this and then turn around and say the voters can approve it? Last survey i saw 64% of the people in NJ were for it. For a country that is in tremendous debt, allowing online gambling would help each state tremendously with the deficit.
I will never understand how the "land of the free" has placed Americans with these restrictions.
