I Am on a Snowball to Hell Streak........

Hiya Guys and Dolls,

Ok, i know gambling is all about taking a chance and you win some, you lose some. But my luck has been soooooooo bad lately. It is like i am cursed and no matter what i play i just can't win.

Went to the land based casino last week and sat down at a WMS Slot - Robin Hood and before i could put my money in the machine a guy playing Kronos got up a couple seats down from me so i rush to take his seat.

Well worse thing to do is leave a machine you are on and stay in the area. Woman sits down on the machine i left and wins $300 off the bat! She leaves and then another woman sits down and on a .50 bet hits a mega bonus round and wins over $1k.

I sit at the Kronos machine for over an hour betting $1 - $2 per spin and got absolutely zilch after dumping $400 in the darn machine!

So of course i go back the next day for a couple hours hoping and praying my 3 month bad luck streak is over and AGAIN i see two Video Poker machines contemplating which one should i play. Mmm hmmm so naturally i pick the wrong one because a woman sits down next to me and within 5 minutes hits 4 Aces!

Winning and losing really does come in cycles, when you are hot, you are hot and when you are not its like a snowball rolling in hell! It also means making bad choices, your whole psyche is off. When i am on a winning streak its like i just know which machine is gonna pay.

Ahhhhhh someone tell me please what i can do to break the bad luck curse!

:( sorry to hear this lips, i really hope your luck changes soon and yes this sucks and i feel you totally i to get the same too and im sure every gambler does too at some point.

Lips,I'm sorry you are having such bad luck.I know it is something we all go thru but it still sucks!!

Geeezzz the gamblers gods,lucky charm or the gambling good luck fairy could have at least been nice to you on your birthday!!

              Oh Man,  Lips I'm so sorry to hear that.  It sounds as though you are the new Anti-Cooler,  you show up and everyone starts winning .  I think you now need to find you an "anti-cooler" to help you get your groove back.  It's the only way to break the curse.  Find someone with shi*****  luck than your own and have them play next to you.  This really sucks because of your recent birthday (25, right?) .    Good luck on your quest Lips,  we're all pulling for ya.   

Oh lordy - what can I say but change the dates that you play.  Early in the month when everyone has been paid is not a great time for land casinos.  Try middle of the month when players funds are getting low and those people just can't put all that money in that they would normally put in....then it's your turn to jump on and reap the benefits.

Sorry to hear about your snowballing bad luck Lips.  I hope it changes soon.

I know its very aggravating to see people hit a machine you were on. Best thing to do is wear blinders so you dont see whats going on near you.

When I was fortunate enough to finally win, the casino isn't paying.  I am so fed up, I refuse to give anyone another dime.

Thanks guys for your encouraging words! I just needed to vent, its the way of us gamblers sometimes. It just amazes me how it really does come in cycles. When i am on a winning streak it never seems to quit!

Last year for example i had FOUR signers at the casino in a 30 day period. That is just as wild. At least i know that its coming somewhere around the corner cuz i am long overdue and when it strikes lQQk out.........weeeeeeeeeeeee!

It does seem to come in waves for you. I've never ever had a signer at a land based casino. Overall my luck sucks no matter where I play. I've had a decent win here or there but it's far and in between. In fact, I'm not sure why I love it so much

Sorry to hear about this Lips, but I guess it comes and goes for everyone. Some winning must be just around the corner.
