  • I ain't had any luck lately and last night I built a $320 bankroll at club world on $25 deposit and gave it all back. When am I going to learn when I make a profit that's not thousands to still go to the cashier. Lost it all went back made $75 deposit and nothing. I could of been $290 up but instead im hundred bucks in the hole.

I need to screw my noggin on straight this year and cashout profits. Sorry about the rant  >:(

  • We all done it before... My worst lost was a $50 deposit and a $2000 win at Sports Interaction Casino. I still remember it like it was yesterday. It bothered me for a while. Part of the problem now a days being in USA. There is NO e-wallet to cashout to. Back when we had e-wallets it would be common to cashout a few hundreds and play elsewhere with cashable bonuses. Now its, if you don't meet a certain amount you're comfortable with. Its either all or nothing. I hate waiting days / weeks for a withdrawal. Its just kills the mood. I don't blame you for losing $300. I still do that regularly today. So don't feel bad, just look at it as $100 lost and not $290 gained. $100 lost is what makes you feel bad. wink

  • I don't know if there's a gambler alive that hasn't done that. wink  I won't even admit to what I've done, it was so horrendous.

But..... That's the way of gamblers, which is why casinos exist in the first place, so don't beat yourself up.  Just resolve to try harder next time.

  • Thx folks for the positive reinforcement. We should all band together and make a resolution to cashout once we make a decent enough profit. Horrendous yeah it sure is. Playing online is a killer waiting and am ashamed at how much I gave back. Still no excuse for me because I have done it at the brick and mortar casino too.

Chocolateman you're right buddy look at it as100 bucks lost of my own money. Next time i'll get them lol.

  •           Hey liquorman,  I think we all have some horror stories of that nature.  Like Lhasalover,  I don't even want to talk about some of the stupid things I've done or rather not done.    Chocolateman's right,  being in the US makes these withdrawals difficult and time consuming at best.    I miss the good e-wallets.
I agree liquorman that's a good resolution;  maybe  (for example)  5 x initial deposit ---cashout.    One of the problems also is the amt. you have to reach to even make a minimum cashout.    Let's all hope for a luckier and more prosperous  year 2014 exclamation

  • ohh you are not the only one i think we are stupid in a way .Last week Deposited 20 euros at Guts casino with no bonus come till 298 euros and lost it,after 2 days NextCasino deposited 17 euros no  bonus come to 350 euros lost it again ,this THURSDAY 25 $ Liberty slots come to 220$ lost it till 25$ then i came again till298 dollars and lost it again, what can i tell you ,maybe we are greedy huh huh huh

  • Boy oh boy i have a long stupid list too! And like bongo said there are minimum withdrawal requests and that sucks especially when you have won like $250 and can't meet the requirements. But knowing me i wouldn't cash-out anyway always thinking pfffffffffff that's not worth it. It's not a good way to think and i do it all the time.

Then i feel guilty when i see someone who is lucky to put food on their table and i just blew a small fortune.........argggg. Or when i go to the store and see juicy steaks and think oh no that's way too expensive. Really? I could of bought steaks for the whole store for what i have given back to the casinos at times.

It's a great idea if we can set limits and stick to it. It's not even so much limits on deposits for me but  cashing out that i have been a major fool. The 5x idea suggested is a good idea. I would walk away a winner more often if i followed this.

  • i hear ya loud and clear too liquorman,

as everyone else said we all done this even myself many many many times, at the end of the day the only winner ever is the casinos anyway, cos when we are gamblers we are gamblers, yes we can choose to stop, but if we gamble for entertainment then that is our choices.

They make a fortune casinos do - and if you think logically and added up all your deposits and losses and then take away the withdraws in the lifetime u gambled i think the high majority would be in a huge loss, and that number we would get or a guestimate of how much in the lifetime we have lost to gambling, in many cases it would probably have been enough to buy a house. sad

But hey we gamble, just be stronger next time smiley

  • Mayby you need find place where is not possible reserve witdhrawale ?  Or even if is possible reserve withdrawal and you win from small deposit example  x 20 or x 50  more - then put it in withdrawal and if    soon  you wonna continue play with this money  or  wonna  reserve this amount - Dont do this.

Better is go to other casino make small deposit with big bonus  and you got your play time -  but your  first withdrawal  still will be safe waiting to cashauts.

Sorry for  poor english but im think people understand what im suggest.

  • been there...done that...to many times to count... wink  wink  wink

i just gave buzzluck back over $800 won on a $25 deposit...

    it hurts... frown  frown  frown

but what are you going to do...it happens

the only thing you can do is to try harder... thumbs_up  thumbs_up  thumbs_up

    good luck to you... smiley

  • Never happened to me tongue

  • Stupid happens over here too. I've made bad mistakes on more than one occasion. Let's hope 2014 gives us all some sense, except for 2fast4u of course.  wink

  • Been there too liquor, but it's part of the good ol fashion chase! Hopefully you'll make tons in the new year!

  • It has happened to everyone, so don't beat yourself up liquorman. Next time you will cash out. smiley

  • A few years ago I was a victim of this vicious trap I put myself in. I had to hit rock bottom before I woke up. After countless dumb choices I made what did me in was claiming $6k in winnings and lost it all to the casino in a single day. I tried to chase it back and was behind in mortgage and bills for two months putting my bank account in the red. I was in so deep the bank wanted to close my account. I had to borrow from family to get out of the mess I put myself in.

I have a kitty I use for gambling now and once its dried up I am done. $200 or over I cash out and slam my laptop down. I know the feeling all too well and hope for lcb members better gambling practices this year. Its hard when you enjoy gambling like we do but it can be done I am a testament to it.

  • it has hapened to most of the people that gamble online
you was not the only one
    its a lesson learned.

some sugestions to when you are being able to cashout:

ex: balance: 400, withdraw 350 and continue playing only with 50, if you loose, uninstall the casino until payment has been processed and reinstall it if you plan to play there again.

withdraw the whole amount and go to live chat to block your account until payment happens.

if its in casinos like guts and next casino, they dont have reverse withdrawal option and payments are super fast,

  •         Wow, who knew this topic would be this popular (unfortuneately).  Bruno,  that sounds like excellent advice, my friend and those amounts are eerily similar to what happened to me the other night.  I made a $50 dep. in JC and got it up to approx.  $380    and then,  like a  Schmuck I got a terminal case of the "stupids"  and  got  greedy and wound up with nada...... I guess it's true, sadly misery loves company.

  • I've also been there and done it many times.  I had to break the habit of losing it all back by making myself stop playing and go to the casino cashier and make myself withdraw it.

Once the money was in my bank/e-wallet, I was so thrilled with myself that when I start losing now, I just go to the cashier and withdraw it.  I will withdraw as little as 3x my deposit or even 2x.  Every little helps!

  • set the limits guys smiley an examp. deposit 30euro/week or even month.. next step is set the limits how much you can lose. And i sugest to play in those casinos there payouts are fast.. like Guts. So set deposit limit 20 euro/ day or week and if you won 5x or more, make withdraw and you will not be alowed to make any deposits until the next day or week.

  •           Everybody has really good advice, I just wish I had listened to my gut that said cashout but I got greedy and we all know how that usually ends...  I think it's a big psychological hurdle, if we can get in the habit of cashing out at lower levels I think we'd still come out way ahead.  Just a thought.

  • I remember back around 2002/3 I met this person who was like a mentor to me. His name was JPM on another forum. I don't know whatever happened to JPM. But he was the best person I've met to date. One great advice he told me when gambling. Whatever you lose, get it back. Don't try to get it in 1 go. Deposit small amounts and cash out small amounts. We both were table game players. So it was easier to play BJ and get a winning hand than several spins at slots... Anyways if I lost $100 doing a session. I would deposit $40 the next session and try to make it $65 and cashout. And repeat it across several casinos.

His main purposes was don't look for a profit until you made up for your losses. Don't chase bigger losses with bigger deposits. ... That method actual works well if you got an e-wallet. I've done it plenty of times. Write down on a piece paper my losses from the previous deposit. Subtract and cross out small amounts of withdrawals until I've made up for that loss.

Not having an e-wallet really hurts us as USA players. If/When online gambling becomes available for us on a wide scale again. You better believe it won't be something I will take advantage of again. I really miss Microgaming and Playtech. RTG has honestly left a bad taste in my mouth.

  • My problem is whenever i play and do win especially at land based casino, say i bring $200 with me and i am down to my last $20 and hit something that will break me even, end up thinking pfffffffff that's only breaking out even and give it all back. Then on the car ride home i want to shoot myself in the head for not cashing out when i had the chance.

Breaking out even is as good as winning. You have fun in the process and it didn't cost you anything. I am really trying hard to live by that motto this year. I think if we all cash-out and set low limits we could actually be ahead of the game in the long run.

Another thing i do which aye aye i want to scream later with my thought process is if i hit something nice on $20 i keep right on playing and when i see i am losing it all tell myself it's casino money anyway not mine. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

To be honest i almost wish i didn't win right away at any casino cuz i know i will give it back. When you love to gamble it is nearly impossible to sit down, play ten minutes hit something and walk away.

I think a good way to think is this is about making a profit no matter how big or small it may be. Where can you go and say you're $200 ahead without working to earn it. Making a profit should be priority, having fun should come in second.

May be on the LCB forum we can continue this thread and every time someone cashes out a win no matter how small support one on another and praise each other for a job well done.

Together we can be ahead of the game by setting lower limits to cash out and walk away a winner much more often!

    Lips

  • Great idea lipstick, we can share here our little winnings ( i mean real cashouts ) .

  • Sounds good to me because I need to stay on the straight and narrow. Liken to see small withdrawals from everybody and see how much we are ahead in a months time.

I played tonight on $50 couldn't do diddly squat. Misery loves company and reckon we are all in the same boat but if we stick together we can lick these casinos. Problem is the limit is $300 at most casinos. Anyone know casinos with smaller withdrawal limits, i'd gladly appreciate it.

  •         Hey guys,  sorry to be writing in here again,  I'm not real happy about today.    Put around $70 in  a well known RTG today and damned if I didn't parlay that up to around $310 or so.  Then I  was about to
eat lunch and come back--But  Nooooo,  I wanted to get another bonus round  before lunch and I swear to you it was like a switch was flipped and I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.  I mean I've never seen anything like it.  Over 2/3 of  my bank  just vanished within minutes.    I went to different games and nothing!  It was really weird.    After that fiasco,  the rest of my bank vanished after a short while.
I know, I was being greedy but mathematically speaking you'd think I'd hit something.    I'm just sayin'.  Sorry about the rant but it was very frustrating.  I know now I should've cashed out the $300.  My fault for being greedy.

  • bongo man that really sucks... call it a greed, an itch or what if.., the bottom line is it happens to us all.

  • The problem for me nowadays is when I win, I win before I feel I have had a long enough session.

I remember last year I deposited $100 then started spinning. On my 3rd spin I hit the bonus round and won over $200 off it. Of course a few seconds isn't my idea of a session so I carried on playing. Sadly it was all downhill from there.

If I am a good amount in profit, I aim to go out on a high and hopefully get a bonus round which boosts my profit. Instead I more often that not bust out before getting the bonus round.

1 of the many reasons why I don't play any more is because things seem to switch from a lucky streak to a losing streak in seconds. Yes it's gambling, but is painful when I plan on a 3 hour session, get in profit in under an hour but play on because I haven't had my full gaming experience. Then by the end of 3 hours I have lost the lot. Very disheartening.

    i always do that
    even last week
build a cashout of miami club with it
    balance 500 - withdraw 450 stayed 50 to play
builded up to 600 - withdraw other 550 played 50

when was in 2000 - played 50, lost, uninstalled the casino, when payout is full processed i resinstal it again
  • Yep.. My dumb@ss had an almost $1200 balance on a straight $30 deposit. And I didn't cashout. Wtf was I waiting for? I still kick myself for that. Ahhhh!!!! It happens. Just try to remember that experience next time you're up. Unfortunately, I haven't had a moment like that again to reflect back. laugh_out_loud

  • Lips.. It's the gambler mentality. I'm the same way, and I believe marcus said it perfect. We sit down and win, well wth! We weren't done playing. Besides, there's no "memory" to these things, it's possible to hit again.. Or at the very least keep us going for a bit, right? Yeah right. I swear these machines have a better memory than myself! And as a woman, I guarantee, at least according to my ex husband -- I remember EVERYTHING. laugh_out_loud

There's no way in heck I could sit down and hit $100-300 immediately and just hit the cashout button. Never. I did do it fairly easily when I hit $7k however.. So maybe we have internal limits. Lol I just had no desire to play anymore. I won! I won! I won! (Reminds me of the old man in Vegas Vacation when he won the keno jackpot lmao)

My boyfriend on the other hand.. Watches me play at the local casinos and it kills him.. Definitely not a gambler.. Watches me put $20 in.. Get it up anything over that, and he's saying "cashout cashout".. *stares at him* "uh. Go get a beer or something" lol

  • gambling should be a leisure not an addictive, sooner or later, casinos always stay wining, or they would not exist for long if their purpose was losing to the players, both online and land based.

i also love big wins of course, who donts?
but not only being always beting beting beting until win really big is the solution in my opinion.

i think gambling should be used like:
"i have "X" (100, 200 500 whatever) to gamble" each cent above this is a wining.
i have 100, will put 50 to gamble in each time, if with the 1st 50 win 200 or 300, cashout and put the other, if win again, cashout again, if lose, the first 50 was already won.

if lose in both, dont try to recover the lost money or will lose even more,

  • Gambling: (per dictionary.com)

    1. the activity or practice of playing at a game of chance for money or other stakes.

    2. the act or practice of risking the loss of something important by taking a chance or acting recklessly:
If you don't back up your data, that's gambling.

***I'm Just trying to ensure the definition doesn't get it wrong.

  • Well as far as i am concerned no one has done more of a bone head move then myself  40,000 dollars and put it all back in within a day at cleos  yes that is correct  so is there an internal limit i dont know because at land based i hit the cashout button easily  take my ticket and run but online with no wallet to withdraw to or as with cleos waiting a painfully long time to get your money as well as leaving the balance in your account until each 2000 withdrawl is processed and sent    but i can justify to myself cleos reports to irs so i make myself feel better with that  is there an internal limit i think it goes up with each higher win .  and dont think you wont because we are gamblers and just maybe we will  as long as you dont hurt your self finacially in the process have fun ride the wave and enjoy    life is short have a good time

  • As posters above have said. We've been there and done that. More or less and it seems like we don't want to learn our lessons. Hope you feel better now and good luck. smiley

  • I do it so often, i wonder do i really want to win or do i just enjoy giving the casino my money  laugh_out_loud. I say , next time i will not reverse, but........ anyway, we all know how the story goes  wink.

    ROFL Don't i wish.
  • LOL, yeah I know the feeling... How have you been doing overall though? Winning, losing or breaking even?

  • I have been primarily sticking to 3 dice casino and depositing almost daily.  I am losing on every slot i touch  sad. I really wish some other casinos would get the hourly free-rolls, or maybe i can learn to play bingo.

Hope your doing well  on the slots  smiley.

  • 3dice games are not my cup of tea...

  • not my cup of tea...

darn it chocolateman, and here i though all this time you were a beer guy tongue
  • Hi. I think everyone who plays had situation  that won money and lost them all sad My record was 9 years ago - I deposited 30 $ and after 2 hours I reached..... 8000 $.  I played only BJ - it is incerdible luck. I remember I had 1500 $ and I was playing stake 30-50 $ and I lost several rounds and my balance was 1000$ . Then I decided to place max bet in Boss Media Casino 1000 $ per deal. I got As+10 , I repeted stake 5-6 times and I won all games, one time I had BJ and one I duble bet by double down. After I had 8000 my heart was beating like a bell. I requested whitdrawal but I reversed it sad  I succesful whitdraw only 1000 k$ all my luck has gone.

Some of You have written that it is good thing if you have 400$ balance whitdraw 350 and left 50 for game. But I don't thin so. If You play for 50 and win to 150 and lost it all yoy become very angry and it is simple way to reverse cashout and lost remain 350.

    it was me saying
i said by own experience, i always do that, if lose the 50, i simply dont login until receive my money
my own opinion in what i do is: deposited $30 per example, balance reached 300 or 400, but you still want play... cash out 350 play with the 50, if cashout again? BETTER...... if not, not so angry, lost the 50 but still have the rest to receive and will not touch it, lost the 50, maybe luck had changed, so let me be without touch on it
