TO ALL "free chip, no deposit bonus/coupons" redeemers/dreamers, depositors and very optimistic peers,

The only way to withdraw any "real" money at all and they are very strict about this is:

1)be a "depositor",(note that it is called "no deposit bonus/coupon" but you have to be a depositor to get any money) **the irony**

2)redeem one free chip between deposits, never in a roll, on the same ip address, household and household address, e-mail, phone number, last name, birth date, and/or casino/account,

3)play-through the requirement, and yes every free chip has a requirement,

4)not have multiple accounts at a casino (including a sister/brother/mother/father casino, basically another online casino at all) **a live chat rep told me this**

5)remember, "whenever the casino feels like it, you/the free chip can be voided for any reason and/or no reason at all" stated in the rules before you registered.

6)final but very importantly MUST ARGUE AND CONTINUE TO GO INTO HELP CHAT AND REPEATEDLY TELL THEM THAT YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE RULES AND PLAY-THROUGH REQUIREMENT, AND THAT YOU HAVE ONLY REDEEMED ONE FREE CHIP BETWEEN YOUR DEPOSITS AND THAT THIS IS THE FIRST AND ONLY CASINO YOU HAVE REGISTERED FOR AND YOU DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER ACCOUNTS AT ALL AT ANY OTHER BS ONLINE CASINO.

Finally when they do cut a check for you, (if you are one of the "lucky" people out there, or should i say a promoter for the online casinos) are not gonna see it for about a minimum of 3-6 months, but it depends on where you reside, because some places won't be able to get anything even if there country has been renamed and split into two (one example is yugoslavia) but the casino hasn't updated and will still not update the names of all the countries in the world. my thought is if they can take your money out of your account so fast, why does it take that long to arrive. Hope all of you have the patients for this or even have a clue about this. i did. my advice, stick to your day job and go play with the indians, (if you are american). hope the info helps all of you guys. maybe everyone would realize that this is a fullproof "legit scam" that is not a considered a scam.

****ONE BIG REMINDER TO THE GREAT PEOPLE OF the U.S. of A. it is against the United states law that there be no online gambling of any sort that a u.s. citizen can do, meaning if you profit off of any type of game for money you put in to a website/casino program, (besides poker) that you will be fined a large amount of money and/or be facing federal prison time if caught.**** (that is what a live chat rep told me)

****If you are asking why i am writing this to all of you optimistic peers of mine's, my luck and false hope that the world is a fairytale "peter pan's neverland" played a trick on me that when i first registered to my very first and only online casino and my very first "free chip" redemption, was very "lucky" enough to win $18,473.59 after i played through the $3,000 requirement on "PAY DIRT", then to be foolish enough to deposit my "real money" to try to get money i won, to get, not only, the knowledge of online casinos rules, but alot of BS run arounds, wasted attempts, time, effort, rudely talked to by so called live reps that supposedly is there to help you, and also the most important thing of it all and everyone should know and realize this in the beginning instead of being greedy and selfish "gold-diggers", the enjoyment of the video game and the thought that i was very lucky to win a large amount of "real money" not "free chip/money" or was the "real" term of it all, my favorite, PLAY MONEY. Hope all of you realize that this has always been PLAY MONEY, and if you try to get legal actions that you will be in trouble too because, (for me) it is against the U.S. law to gamble online, but "online poker" is ok like the law says. don't be foolish enough to deposit please. money is gained by time, effort and hard work, not by a simple push or click of a button.

thank you all for listening/reading, if i didn't post this i would (already have) go crazy.

  • Also please read;
    https://lcb.org/articles/UIGEA

    and

    https://lcb.org/is-gambling-online-illegal.html

    for questions regarding legality issues.

  • As for online gambling in the us to be illegal - how many of you get bulk mail from the us postal service ( a pseudo arm of the us federal government) advertising online gambling sites?  I'm keeping all mine, "just in case".  By the way, bulk (or standard) mail has to be checked by the usps BEFORE it inters the mailstream, to make sure it meets bulk standards, and is NOT first class mail.  i.e. the post office KNOWS what it is accepting for delivery in these.   I would keep a file of every single one you get (except first class, which has a standard of privacy, and is NOT checked).  grin

  • Addendum: Wouldn't it be "inticement" by the Federal Government to send something to you to get you to do something 'illegal'?

  • Just read two links provided by Jimbeaux - confusion confounds - the first article states that it is illegal to transfer funds FROM a financial institution TO an online gaming site - the 2nd article says TO or FROM - i.e. it is also illegal to RECEIVE you winnings into a bank account.  Someone please clarify - also, one of the articles states it applies to U.S. online casinos - does this then mean it is NOT illegal to fund casinos that operate outside of the country?  My credit union had no problem accepting a check from a casino site - nor did they have a problem accepting a wire tranfer from another site (which did it from a US bank). And please see my earlier post about the mail......... any comments appreciated, please.  By the way, I have every intention of paying taxes on those winnings - after all, it was the irs who finally got (please insert name of big time bootlegger from 'the untouchables here - my memory is shot) arrested and convicted (for tax evasion) during prohibition.

  • Residents of the USA (myself being one) are only punished by fines and or federal prison if the jurisdiction in which you reside (being your specific state of residence) specifies this will be the punishment for gambling online.  In my experience, if you reside in one of these states the casino will not even list your state (such as Kentucky and Missouri) as an option in the registration screen.  If an individual manipulates or lies on the registration form regarding their state of residence and then becomes a patron of the online casino and participates in the international transferring of funds, then 'Yes' you will be punished by the sanctions mentioned.  As such offenders should because they are breaking the law!  Although I think we are smarter than this...do you think these 'banned' states have taken these measures, written these laws, and spent countless hours and dollars as a civil service to the people??  Hell no!  It's because their state tax bracket is either nonexistent or too low to allow people to participate in online gambling (ya know, old Uncle Sam doesn't feel like he's getting his 'fair share' :'().

However, I reside in the State of California and for now Californians among other residents of certain states are allowed to gamble online and patron casinos.  Granted, you must claim all winnings and pay taxes at the end of the year (anything over $1,500) but guess what??  I've never won bitches!  So governor Arnie can take that to the bank! tongue

Anyways, it sucks you won that much on a free chip, but come on...did you really expect to be able to make a $20 deposit and go live high on the hog?  All free chips have a 'cap' of what winnings may be withdrawn.

Oh, I don't know about all this; I've been playing on-line for years, and have made some real nice money from playing on free-chips.  I will say, however, that it was/always has been from Microgaming casinos; they're no longer accepting new players from the U.S., however since I was already an existing player when the legislation was put into effect, I still play there.
  • Im just going to slowly back outta this thread................BAD JUJU  tsk tsk

  • newbie very nice post except for the section concerning the US of A, being from the US, My advice to anyone who believes someone from a chat rep. unless that person is a legal lawyer in this area of knowledge is a fool to believe anyone of such. also there are individual states that specifically do not allow on line gambling, this does not apply to all states, because the law concerning olg is not illegal according to the way the law is interped, it only makes it illegal if one uses the bank , etc. to transfer funds to these casinos. One may not know this, but in order for these Politicians to have this bill pass they had to "Sneak" include it  in a much larger Bill (transportation) at that time, otherwise it would not have passed. The passage of this bill at the time left it up to the individual States to either make it illegal or not. Chicago and Navada for example make it illegal to gamble on line, because they as you know have legal Gambling and don't want money going out of the state. Gambling is a great enjoyment and cerainly a right of the individual to chose , but their are those who still live in the dark ages will always try and take those rights away because they believe different. This country is still full of strong Americians who believe and live by our U.S Constitution and all it will take is one vote to make things right again. Freedom does not come easy to us, it survives because of who we are at heart. Don't believe "none" of what you hear and only half of what you see. Do home work and research before you believe such people in a chat window. Have a Great Day.

  • well I have made a cashout recently with a free chip at a casino I have never made a deposit at, and I was paid.....this was at Jackpot Capital

  • i think you are really new to online gambling, but what you have found out already will help you in the futurre ;-)-

the bottom line is, you surely played at a rogue rtg casino (cool cat, cirrus) they offer the most freechips. its sure that they dont pay you 18k on a free chip as they even dont pay players who requested a few hundred bucks.

you couldnt know this, but if you would have played at an accredited place theres no problem and no hassles to get your money if you followed the rules.
book it as experience and if you want to get paid playing onlone look for some of the good ones...

but most times you will be unable to cashout a few thousand from a free chip as they mostly have a max cash out, even at the good casinos. so its good to make a little extra money...

the things you discovered are really basics but nice to hear it will surely help the newbies from aking any deposits at virtual group casinos etc..

    cheers coxwel

  • In 2000 before the USA gambling restrictions and all the no deposit restrictions I cashed out $3,000 on a 10 dollar free chip at Blackjack Ballroom Casino... it took about 6 weeks and numerous emails and threats to contact the internet gaming commission...but alas i was PAID!

  • If I am Canadian, and resides in Canada - is it illegal for me to play online at the casinos during a visit to my condo in Florida? Also...could I be banned from sites that don't accept US players that I normally play on in Canada?

  • Interesting question Soda, heres how I see it. As for going online and gambling there should be no issues, florida is not one of those states that chse to restrict online gambling. Curiously the states that did place restrictions were also the ones that had vested interest in land based gambling.. ie casinos. riverboats, OTB, Horse tracks with slot/video poker options. In other words, the freindlier they were to the idea of gambling the more restrictive they were of onloine gambling, probably because they could not shake down the House for their cut.

As to accessing the casinos you normally play at that restrict US, ie Microgaming... that will depend. If you have the casinos downloaded to your laptop already and have a current account you should have know problems... but you will be unable to download, in many cases Microgaming software while showing a US ISP.
