Is There a New Trend in Slot Wins or What?

Hiya LCB'ers,

Winning seems like it is a brand new ball game on Slots. Big pay-outs on line wins are far and in between at least for me this is. Whether its an online casino or a land based casino the only chance i have to win some serious cash is if i can trigger a bonus round.

Are slot manufactures re-inventing the machines for big wins to happen on bonus games only and weeding out big line bets?

Love to here your thoughts on this.

I think it doesnt necessarily mean big wins are tied to features only, I would rather say because you usually have some nice multipliers in free spins (or maybe stacked wilds, or extra wilds etc) its likely you will have better wins in free spins.

I didnt really count but I think Ive win about the same number of jackpots in both base game and free spins (by jackpot I mean maximum line pay), but as I said its usually better to hit big in free spins and take advantage of the multipliers if there is any.

I rarely manage to bring up my balance during the base game but it happens. I, at best, keep my balance stable during the base game (+/- $10). I usually wait for a feature for a big win.

Slots are definitely about triggering the bonus rounds for big wins for the most part. It's what every spinners goal is. Then again it does not always mean big wins either cuz there is dud bonus rounds.

I don't think i have ever one a Jackpot where all 5 symbols appear on a Video Slot. That is def on my bucket list of success

I have to mention bingo slots where I can bring my balance up during the base game... especially "Coffee House" and sometimes "Trolling for Treasure".

Trolling for Treasure Slot can pull off some big pay-lines. Love those puffer fish 

Slots at bingo sites seem to be bi-polar.  They are either hot or cold, doing good or doing horrible.

Slots at casino sites are getting ridiculous with their new trend toward feature guarantee.  You spend large amounts just to trigger the feature and then win incredibly low amounts on the feature.  Bonus play is getting to be the same for me as well.  100 $1 spins and then the feature gets you a whole $1.96, or worse.

Now I'm sure that every once in awhile the game pays more, but I'm not playing enough to see it happen, I guess. 

Played for about 5 days on a top game slot on a free $25, was still right at $25 - this is not how I like to spend time as it definitely is just spinning my wheels.

Ugh it's a rare day when I win playing a Top Game slot. I like them but there's just a couple of Top Game casinos I'll play at. Those bonus games are so hard to get too. I despise the ones that require 5 bonus symbols!

I agree, Froggy.  Some of those games are not so fun.  I really don't have the patience for the top game slots.  They are for one thing so...slow...

I was playing Black Diamond, and got a lot of bonus games.  If not for them I would have gone broke really fast.  Plus, there is a glitch in the game where it reverts back to one coin at lowest denomination after the bonus game so if you are on autoplay and trying to spend more, good luck with that!

To be fair, there was one spin at minimum 25 cents that won me almost $150.  Unfortunately I was on auto and didn't see it.  And since there was that massive play through to accomplish, well, it wasn't all that much good.

I like playing the slots on those UK bingo sites where I am still allowed to play for fun.  Some of them are just full of wins!

Top Game slots are "safe" most of the time they give you a rally long playtime but with no excitement. I got bored with them after a while. I could also start playing with $30 and then, finish playing with $30.
