It ain't over till it's over....

        Evening Gang:
              As I drove thru the magestic eagles last night heading into the "Soaring Eagle" casino  I had a good feeling about the evening ahead.  Thru the doors I went like I had wings on my feet, grabbed that ever famous Vanilla Latte and , ok, lets be honest, ran to my favorite slot game Dean Martin Wild Party. It was open!!!  YES!!!

                It was free money night, and I downloaded my free money right off my players card into the game. Easy stuff.  I'm an old pro.

                So my beginning balance was $50 bucks. I was betting $3.00 per spin. Max is how I play. (Win big or go home ) Let the games begin.  Spin spin spin. Hmmm, not much is happening, except my bankroll is rapidly deteriorating.  A few hits here and there, but where is the bonus. I need a bonus. Spin Spin and Spin again.  Okay, Now I really need a bonus.  I say it outloud to myself, "I need a bonus."
                More spinning, and I am beginning to think my night is going to be over as quickly as it starts.  Before I know it, my balance is down to $3.80. 
 
            " It aint over till it's over!" I repeat this phrase to myself as I hit that spin button one last  time.

My smile is huge , as I breath that sigh of relief that all gamblers know so well.
 
                Here we go....I pick a symbol....It's DEAN....Oh I am feeling really good now.  First spin, one whole row of Wild party symbols,  Yes Yes Yes....Four to go...secong and third spins, Nothing....Oh, C'mon baby, 2 more to go.
Fourth spin.....Nothing.....I close my eyes, and once again, repeat my slogan..."It aient over till it's over...Spin five was the charmer.........Oh yea, one and a half  rows of Wild Party Symbols....matching up with Dean like stars in the night. Grand total of  $166.00

  With much happiness and no regret I part Deans company.  I ever so gently blow him a kiss and promise him I will return soon,  another day, another time.  As for now? I'm moving on......

        Until that last spin is actually spun, it aient over. You never know when luck will decide to hit for you.  I am living proof. I have done what I just described many times.  I can't remember when I started saying this saying of mine. Just one day it came out of my mouth and has been my Motto ever since.  So remember that next time your spinning...and your chips are going down...One spin can turn it all around.

nice read pam...and you know i always say i am going to learn from you, but still am working on it.  i just don't know my cut off point.  when my mom was alive a bunch of us used to play this dice game, and we were all die hard gamblers, and kept shooting the dice, and went for broke and always lost our shirt...my mom had this saying we always laughed at her.."a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"  so she would take the littlest stinking points like 100, when we needed 5000.  but she kept on doing it every round, and saying that stupid saying, and we would laugh at her..but she was laughing all the way to the bank, because she kicked our ass EVERY time.

so YOU are definately right it ain't over till its over...and she was too a bird in the hand IS worth two in the bush.  one of these days i'll get it right 

Great story PMM.  It happened to me last night too.  I was playing and playing going up and down.  Not enough to cash out.  So I am playing Achilles which is usually very tough for me to hit.  I had about $150 when I started and was mostly betting $2.00.  Played a long time going up and down, but never got either bonus round.  I have $45 left and almost falling asleep at my computer.  So I think I will raise my bet to $5 which will give me 9 spins at least.  Win or lose I go to bed.  On the 4th or 5th spin I hit the Achilles feature (yeah cuz it is x 3) for 20 spins.  Somewhere in there I hit them again for another 15 spins.  At the end the bonus paid $985.  I cashed out at $1000 and went to bed.

That was at Jackpot Capital and the money was in my quicktender in 8 hours. 

Ended up to be a great time at the end.

Pmm, you are sooooo right! I was playing online one time, deposited $50, lost all but 80 cents.....so I started playing ONE line at 10 cents......here comes bonus round, 25 free spins, and I'm thinking to myself DAMN IT!!! Well I eneded up hitting 5 snow honey symbols [the jackpot for that games] straight across that number one line with the max bet on it for $1200.00.  And to think if I hadn't lost all my money I would have never won that much because I was only betting between 40 and 60 cents per spin, until I damn near ran out!!  BUT on the cautionary side, I have done that stupid play one line on a 20 line game before and WOULDA hit the jackpot had I been playing all the lines then you hate yourself the next day for playing like an idiot!!!!  , bty, I never cashed out a penny from that win, but I did enjoy the next week or so before it ran out........I'm so pathetic!!!!!
