Just a post from PMM on my land casino experiences lately.

Hi gang:
  It occured to me it has been such a long time since I have shared any of my land casino experiences here at the forum.

Yes, I still go to the land casino, once a week, for my free money. I get $40 bucks for being a "Platnuim" member.  Second only to "Diamond" member who recieve God knows what weekly for their free money. lol 

I tell you gang, my luck has been terrific. Three out of four times a month, I can take that mere $40 and turn it into a couple hundred, all the way to as high as five hundred bucks, all from a free $40.


To me, there are two ways you can go about it.  You can bet max, hope like hell you get a good bonus, and come out a winner that way.  If you dont get a bonus, your seriously done for the day unless you brought some of your own money to part with.

The other thing you can do is start small.  This seems to work for me, and it is the choice I make more than not when playing my free money.  I bet 40 lines, one coin, maybe, at most 40 lines, 2 coins. ( These are penny machines by the way.)

Just last week I started out this way, and hit a bonus, and the screen lit up with 4 rows of wilds, and I suddenly found myself up by $170 bucks.  (Of course I tell myself "Gee, I sure wish I had been playing max.lol)

Once I had established a much healthier bankroll, I up'ed my bet a little at a time, tried different games I knew were good at paying out, and found myself up by $400.

I tell you, I walk around that casino like I own the joint when I am winning.  lol.  To turn that free money into cold hard cash is not an easy task, and you need a boatload of luck, besides following your gut and experience. 

My time at the casino is becoming more and more of a science.  I used to run in that place, grab the first machine I could find, go for broke, and end up just that way. 

Now I know the place better and better.  I make it a point to learn all about the new games, even if I dont want to play them at first.  I spend alot of time just watching the new games.  I listen alot to what people are saying when it comes to winning.  If someone is bragging about their latest win, I always pay close attention to where they say they got that win. 

The casino I go to is the largest in Michigan, yet to me, it is becoming like a old friend. I know where to go to find this and that, I know all of the restaurants, and I know where to go to find a particualr game.  I walk in , head held high, walking straight and with purpose to that already chosen machine.


In the end, as with slots, I need alot of luck to be able to turn free money into real cash week after week.  I'm not saying I dont ever bottom out and go home, cause I do.  But just lately I have been very lucky, and would like to believe some of my experience and gut feelings have something to do with it.


Well, I just wanted to share a little bit of my experiences  I have been having lately at the land casino lately.  I've missed writing, and I hope someone out there possibly missed reading about it. lol

Great post PMM..I find when I follow the "rules" I do a lot better than when I play what I want just because I want too.

Things that tend to work or give me a better chance are playing machines by the doors and not by the restaurants or card tables.  Machines in a set/carousel are supposedly good too.

Been a while since i have been out gambling, i've been doing & dealing too much of other things, as soon as i get my chance, i'll probably be so slot starved i'll run to the first machine and lose all my money
