Let's play... Keno!

My mom and dad first introduced me to Keno a few months after i turned 21.. they took me to a casino and showed me this wonderful game.. at first i was kind of bored, tap some numbers onto the screen,hit start.. then machine would go "bloop bloop bing bloop bloop bloop bing bing" and so forth.. "bing" means i hit a number i played and bloop means i missed.. i remember thinking theres no fun in this where's the colorful wheels with little icons, no cherries or bars, just little X's  hmm.. just as i was about to say.. mom this is boring and walk away, i looked over at her and her machine hit 7 numbers out of 7 paying her 1750.00.. i was so excited she won such a large amount so easily and quickly on this boring board.. after that it wasn't so boring lol.. i sat back down, tried a few more and within about 15 minutes my own machine made this loud clunk noise locked up, rang up a storm.. and boom there it was.. 7 out of 8 for 400.00 this was on Christmas Eve.. from that moment on i was hooked..

Since then i've won alot of money playing, hit head on many times, but theres a few things after all these years i've found out.. there's a pattern play,which means you put your numbers up in a pattern, like a V shape or an L shape or T, one of my favorites is what i call a city block 9 numbers in a solid block, i've hit many 8 out of 9 which pays 1175.00.. it's a very good hit one reason it's below the taxable amount. Theres straight up and down a numbers colomn, there's four corners with 4 picks in the middle, many types of patterns people play,and thats all they will play is their certain pattern, alot of people play 4 numbers loaded which hits easily pays about 100. My usual form of play is 8 numbers top left corner ina certain pattern i've developed lol..
Okay now this is what i found out playing pattern verses random, when i play pattern i never hit head on i miss it by one, tried and tried again and never hit it,sitting on that pattern for hours..then i've tossed up random numbers and hit head on within a few plays.. i wish i could find out why this happens.. so what i started doing was playing my pattern and then throwing off one number choosing a random and it worked, lol.. i hit head on..

For all you Keno players out there, whats your form of play, whats your number level..whats your big win, what got you hooked on Keno?

I always thought Keno was the most boring looking game ever. I wasn't really into it until I won about $90 at an online bingo site. I'm not even sure what made me play it. It wasn't a huge win but I saw the possibilities. I've gotten into the habit of choosing random numbers. I never thought of using a pattern. Some good advice Imagin. I will use it next time I play. I got into Keno at land casinos because I often went gambling with my mom... that woman could go for 3 days without a break and she would wear me out. I discovered that one of the few places I could sit in a comfy chair and relax without having to keep putting in money and reaching for buttons or pulling handles was the Keno lounge.

I have tried a variety of methods and number of picks... I am a pattern player usually, the solid 9 pack often being the pattern I choose. I also play about 10 games and analyze where the heaviest concentration of numbers is most consistent. At the moment I am playing a strict set of 6 numbers in a column starting with the month of my birth, then the day, then ending at the year which are all in that same column with the numbers between filled in also. I have hit up to 5 at a time, but never all 6 head-on...

In Vegas we have 4 card Keno and 20 Card Keno, 20 Card is my favorite play it as a penny a card up to 5 bucks per card.. 20 Card Keno lets you have 20 cards but are all played at the same time on the machine.. now i'm loading my numbers the same on say 5 cards and other ways and patterns on the other 15, now if the 5 cards hit that have the same patterned numbers i placed on there i win five times.. this one i love, it's not so boring.. once i had 2 cards the same and hit 8 out of 8 playing a nickel per card, paid me 800 bucks lol
