Hello All,
I have posted this before on another forum but wanted to get an opinion from the members of LCB.
With the amounts of online casinos and decent bonus offers out there, one thing I notice that seems to be forgotten about lately is Loyalty. I have been doing some checking around doing some homework and taking a look at some of the most popular Casino’s loyalty programs. I have noticed that there are some worth noting but I wanted to get a player’s opinion on which ones really strike value in their guests and make you want to stick around.
Loyalty is not Cheap

As a lowroller the loyalites is worthless tbh they are only made for highrollers, like on go wild casino if you play casual now and then you need to wager 20000$ to get the 10$ redeem chips, and most of other places ive seen its like 1$ redeem for 5000points, so if you dont play atleast 1000$+ a month i dont see anything good about any loyality ofc you might get a free chip and so now and then but nothing major.

You're right Kazzi, it takes ages for a lowroller to reach the redeemable amount at a Micro, I'm on 1971 points now at GoWild, took me 5 months, lol.
Rival has the most generous comp system I think, at Sloto I get 3 points for every $1 wagered, that can count up pretty fast.
I got lucky with my comps a few times there, lost my deposit and bonus, redeemed comps for 5 or 6 bucks and hit a nice feauture on Scary.
Last month I won $150 at Tradition from 6 bucks comps.
No playthrough, thats the best thing. -

Very good question, my personal opinion to the Loyality programs is to give the player a choice, that always makes them feel good, just a little extra for their Loyalty..
One example is to have the comp points have value with cash or maybe an IPOD, or TV, Stereo System, it doesn't have to be too extravagant, but they have a choice to keep working towards that TV or cash it out for money, get the idea?
For example a player will keep going and keeping working on the comp points if there was a laptop the player was working towards..
Another is for example, if they built up $10 in comp points, cashing out now would give them $1 extra making it 11, waiting til they reach say 20$ they would get an extra $5 making it $25.. higher and higher waiting til $50 built up would give them an extra $10, it doesn't have to be these amounts, but getting that little extra keeps the player.
My point to this is, let the player feel what their loyalty means to you by giving them a choice rather then the casino decide what the players loyalty means. -

Thanks for your opinion and I agree Casinos need to start showing players that their loyalty is valuable. -

I think the loyalty programmes (English spelling) are dire to be honest. I can name but two casino loyalty programmes that are of any value to me.
Poker sites seem to have got their act together with loyalty programmes with their poker points systems which you can use to buy goods, exchange for real cash (and I mean good cash not a buck or two) or buy into expensive tournaments.
Loyalty tournaments are a great idea.

Yes exactly Blue, a player will say.. "i'll put my money here, stay loyal because even if i'm on a losing streak i can look forward to great loyalty comp points" and at least having a choice.
Something more for the money, even while losing, it's just my feelings on that. It's a sad feeling when you are losing, its hard for anyone to take it humbly. -

Hi Cindy,
Great question!!! I could be wrong here, but i am beginning to see a turn in the way casinos are doing promotions. Seems to me more and more are steering away from the free chips and placing more value on the depositing player.
There is a couple of casinos i play at that are now offering loyalty chips where in the past i had never received one. If not a loyalty chip then a "we miss you" free chip.

Loyalty, is being happy winning, and being happy losing, either way you have something to look forward to, players will stay, players are not loyal for nothing, theres got to be something, if there is nothing they will move on, be loyal somewhere else that they feel good about being loyal to.
Even if it is only being treated well. Free chips... well, come and play the free chip, they lose, nothing else offered, they go... thats just the die hard end of it.
Offering free chips that add on comp points is a good idea, maybe for depositing players.. even sometimes for non-depositing.. comp points are important to alot of players. -

You may or may not know but cryptologic software is my favourite however, one of the cryptologic sites I play at give me nothing in return. No comp points etc. So I've made the decision not to play there any more. I can take losing but losing without comps sucks.
Ditto goes for some of the MG sites - some give you 10% back auto and some don't give you anything back but comp points. Fine - but - it takes a few hundred bucks just to get $5. Not worth it.

No it's not!! I've always wondered where in the world these casino's come up with there loyalty programs......it takes me many, many, many deposits to earn enough loyalty points to cash in and depending on where I'm playing it can be for as little as just $1.00. I know at land casino's I drop a few $20's and my card in a slot machine and by the time I'm done playing I got enough comps to get a free dinner. Not to mention the free smokes, hotel rooms, and cashback bonuses.......

They really should think more about lowrollers since its still there biggest income im sure, it fell a little like they dont care much about us they just wanna make all these big bonuses/tournaments for the highrollers, often they got win xxx for wagering most on a slot or something in a weekend the person most likely to win that is people that spend so much already that its nothing to win 100$.
I can imagine in the end its gonna be too much that they gonna scare us "normal" people away. -

Thats why i said this here, players will move on if it's nothing they get..or have to work their butts off trying to make comp points.
"players are not loyal for nothing"
So whether winning or losing they will stay loyal if theres a good loyalty program. -

What I really hate is when the comps also expire after 2 or 3 months, some Micro's have this, that truly sucks.
After not playing for a while at JackpotCity my 800 comp points were all of a sudden vanished.
Its hard enough already for a lowroller to reach 1000, the minimum redeemable amount. -

What is the best loyality program out there? most got that 1000/5000points for 1$, then go wild 2000points for 10$, and 32red 1000rubys for 5$ i think it is, but both those require 10-20000$ wagered.
go wild give out free rolls though but mostly u'll end up with 2-3$ and in 95% those will only last a few min at top. -

You know to be honest I truly enjoy the free chips and the small bonuses out there and don’t want to break the bank in earning, but because when I play a casino loyally; it’s nice that when a casino notices it and throw some of that good stuff my way. I myself prefer more play and entertainment for my money.
Let me ask you this. How about a loyalty program where you accumulate the most points for a month out of other players for a real prize that’s worthwhile and getting some real cash for every certain amount of points you earn, say like for every 1000, and with every month starts a new cycle with a new winner for the worthwhile prize. You can earn those points for not only how much you play with free chips and bonuses but the amount you deposit as well . -

Sounds good Cindy, another thing that is good that i have noticed is certain days have extra comp points, like say if you play on tuesday and thursday you make 3x's comp points, can even raise it up higher, thats another eye catcher for players. Maybe sat and sun double comp points..
Alot of the complaints about comp points is that they are never enough, and if another casino is offering a better comp program, they will move to that one. Like i said, even while losing they can still feel good because of the comp program, they can look forward to. -

For those playing at gowild casino dont be shy asking support for a freebie, had a nice chat there last night, got 30free spins which dident give much luck then since its wendesday i got the 100spins like everyone else can get and she told me if still no luck to come back, so i went back talked with her some more and she actually gave a 7$ free chip also since i was having such bad luck. I'm not a big spender so getting 2 freebies in same day is amazing and was told i could get more after my next deposit, thats what i call great loyality
